Speed-buff routingEdit

There are several maps in phase 2 where if your fleet speed is high enough, you can bypass several branching rules or get better routing. There are few things to note:

  • Whatever applied to Fast+ fleet will also be applied for Fastest fleet, so if 1CL 5DD Fast+ skips a node for example, 1CL 5DD Fastest will do the same
  • However, it may not work for the other way around, it's not guaranteed that Fastest fleet rule will also be applied the same for Fast+ fleet
    • One good example for this is 5-1 node F, only Fastest can go to the boss directly, Fast+ is not enough
  • Well, another interesting thing to point out is if the node that has the speed-buff branching rule is right before the boss node, it will also skip the LoS check as well if there is one. Therefore, it's possible to have a Fast+ fleet with a really low amount of LoS, but still be able to fight the boss (Check it in 5-4, I'm not kidding !)
    • Map 4-5 Fast+ fleet is a weird case but kinda works the same way. In reality, H-T branch is not an LoS check, but you technically "skip an LoS check" too as you never go to node K anyway
    • Obviously not all the nodes allow you to use any kind of fleet that let you skip the LoS check as long as its speed-buffed, there are some nodes with heavy ship limit too. For instance, map 5-4 and 5-5 north east branch right before the boss node, it only allows a limited amount of heavy ships in your fleet to skip the LoS actually (4 max for 5-4 and 5 max for 5-5 for Fast+ fleet). If you exceed this limit, it's back to random routing !
      • 5-5 north east gets a better treatment though, it's also known that if your fleet is Fastest (Yes, Fastest not just Fast+), you can bring a whooping 6 heavy and skip the LoS check, route to the boss node all the time. But still, damn ! Who would be able to form a Fastest fleet while still maintaining enough firepower for the boss fight ? As of this point, those 5-5 speed-buff routing are just meme. The branching rule is there, but it's not effective !

Whirlpool / TornadoEdit

You know why I hate whirlpool in Phase 2 more than in Phase 1 ? Some of them are actually very mean, like.... VERY MEAN ! They wipe your fuel is one thing, but damn, sometimes they can wipe your entire remaining fuel too, causing your evasion to suck so bad after that point.

  • At least the rule with the ships carrying radar still works. Having more ships with radar help reduce resource loss, but it still doesn't help much against the very mean whirlpool though (Yes, I am gonna call them very mean whirlpool now whenever I talk about the type that can wipe your entire remaining fuel !)
  • There are 2 types of whirlpool in Phase 2:
    • 1. The type that will alway wipe only a certain amount of your resource, not entirely
    • 2. The type that either does the same as above OR wipe your resource entirely (Very mean type right here)

Map GuideEdit

  • This map contains 1 TP bar and 2 HP bars that must be depleted in order to complete the map.
    • Phase 1: Deplete the TP bar by securing multiple A or S ranks at Node I
    • Phase 2: Deplete the first HP bar by damaging (then sinking) the Supply Depot Princess B at Node J
    • Phase 3: Open the shortcut Q-T
    • Phase 4: Deplete the last HP bar by damaging (then sinking) the Aircraft Carrier Princess at Node T.
  • 2 LBAS is available for you to sortie (Airbase defence can also occur)

  • Node E is a battle against CA Ne-Class Kai who is very dangerous
  • There are PT Imp Packs at the boss node, a certain equipment such as Skilled LookoutsSkilled Lookouts 129 Card may be required to counter them
  • LBAS: Both bases full of LBAA sent to boss, or split one base for node E

Single Fleet 1CA 1CL 4DD

  • Routes A D G J
  • Avoiding the E node that contains Ne Kai, but will have to go through New Submarine Princess node, followed by an air raid node.
  • LBAS: 1 Base of ASW bombers to Node D , another base of all bombers to Boss Node
