Introduction

大型艦用パッシブソナー兵装です。
九三式水中聴音機の補音機を増強した大型グレードアップバージョンで、大和型戦艦のバルバス・バウ付近にも装備されました。専門の人員も配置して水面下の音を収集、敵潜などの早期発見に努めます。

A passive sonar for use on large ships. A larger upgraded version of the Type 93 Passive Sonar with an increased number of receivers, it was also installed near the Yamato-class's bulbous bow. By deploying specialized personnel and gathering sounds from underwater, it can be used to attempt early detection of submarines etc.
