Introduction

早くから潜水艦との闘いを経験した紅茶の国の研究チーム、Anti-Submarine Detection Investigation Committeeで開発された対潜探知システムです。「ASDIC」と呼ばれた同システム群は進化を重ね、今日のアクティブソナーへと発展していきます。124型は大戦初期から運用されていた駆逐艦に搭載されました。

Well experienced in battling submarines since the early days, the country of black tea's research team developed a submarine detection system called the "Anti-Submarine Detection Investigation Committee."  Known as the "ASDIC," this system class will eventually lead to today's active sonar developments.  The Type-124 was deployed on destroyers during the early years of WW2.
