Too late. I've given up. A-rank is all I can get and Iowa never drops at A. So I will just keep bashing in my head and hope my notoriously shit luck gets better.

The game itself? About a year. This event map? Over a week. Over 50 runs about 15 of which were wastes of time because of the bullshit that is node W. Post-clear only 2 S ranks rest are A and not one fucking rare drop with the A-ranks. So yes I have ucking given up hope.

    • 1. From my own experience, all rare drops from node X were on the rank of S. Rang A it is only suitable for those who want a very Iowa, in my case it was 4 Tenryuu in rank in the rank of A. Somewhere in the statistics I read that the rang A the probability for Iowa is slightly less than 1%. When S has over 1%.
      2. These fifty-two attemp are successful, I have failed to target ten times. And it is with my resource-consuming fleet.
      3. Everything revolves around resources. In my opinion, it is better to display a more expensive but more effective fleet with a greater chance of reaching the goal and getting a better result than a weaker and more delicate fleet but more economical.
If you think that your fleet is too weak to successfully fight on E7 and your resources are currently too small. It will be better if you spend the next week on training individuals and collecting resources, it will later pay off.
That's how it was with me. After the summer event I suffered serious problems in my fleet, and further maps on the autumn event were too resource-consuming to try to farm them at the time. I set aside the rest of the resources for further training, which gave me the full opportunity to issue a very effective fleet at E7 today.
I do not know what your fleet and equipment and resources are, so I can advise you so.
If you believe that after exposing a stronger / more resource-consuming fleet it's easy to reach the range S and believe that you have the chance to get something interesting with node X and is able to feed it, try.
If, however, you are aware that your fleet is too weak / you do not have enough resources, you better give up and allocate these resources / time for training.
This is the biggest drawback of this game. Unit trainings are a boring and a black hole for resources. And you can not jump over it even if you want to pay for it. My fleet and equipment is on my message wall if you want to see.
I won all this in about a year because I started to play somehow in the middle of the spring 2017 event. We must remember that we all started with one small destroyer (My Murakumo).

A fair idea. But even my most powerful fleet struggles to get a S rank because my luck and RNG is so shit. And I'm so low on resources I can't grind anybody. What is worse now is because of my shit luck I will have to wait another year just to be disappointed again. So I have no choice but to bash my head and hope RNGesus feels pity.

Not right now, on my way to work. Besides I know my equipment and ships are shit. Plus I'm sure you will stomp all over me for not having Abakuma Kai Ni, not my fault that I needed to save buckets because all she does is get Taiha'd. But I will give you the information later today.

    • Quite a different thing. Is this video placed by me above displayed, or are my suspicions correct and do not do it?

The video is displayed, just didn't help much, especially when people post about getting Iowa after just 10 runs. And expect my equipment and ships at around 9:30 - 10:00 pm EST tonight.

    • At my place is already 23:46 (11:46 p.m.). So in a moment I'm going to sleep because otherwise I will not get up tomorrow. So you do not have to hurry.

And when it comes to video, it's just something wrong with my wikia, which sometimes I can not write, so I was not sure if some mistake does not remove my movies.

Np man, I have to do some transport missions for resources, I'm out of Bauxite again. I will post it here anyway and you can look in the morning.

      2. The most accurate statistic is luck, especially in destroyers (luckily = not to hit). I would focus on training Jervis and Tashkent, Yukikaze. With CL I would train Sendai (with no Abukuma) her night attack is very good. I would finish Tatsute with Kai Ni. Train both CLTs. Train 2 CA (Best-selling versions of Kai NI). Train 2 CAV (Kumano and Suzuya). Finish the training of ALL BBs (Especially Musashi, Yamato, Warspite) and ALL FBBs (Specifically RIchelieu, Bismarck, Haruna).
The most important thing in your CV is the amount of space you have and yours again. Train Hiryuu, Zuikaku, Interpid (above all), Graf (for the socks, at the end).
With CVL, train Zuihou to Kai NI, Chiyoda and Chitose (abundance).
AR train the other to Kai, take the equipment and dump.

I would like to improve the flashlight first (cheap and very helpful, each improvement reduces the probability of hitting our unit, increases the hit of the enemy) and Night Recon (increases the probability of occurrence / increased damage more often). Then I would concentrate on gaining better fighters, Reppu are good but there are too few of them (in other words, they're far from perfect). The best you will get from the tasks. Then it would be good to improve them too.

All this should give you the opportunity to easily pass events on easy and farm units in peace.
