  • As some of the data miners have already realized by now, the Abyssal ship parameters are no longer listed in the master data, which means fighting the bosses and new enemies themselves would be some of the only way to obtain any reliable information regarding them. I would like to request the data miners to help out and fill in the wiki entries for the new enemies we've fighting whereas possible.

    According to dragonjet, the api_eParam and api_eSlot entry in "kcsapi/api_req_sortie/battle" has the basic information regarding the enemy. It doesn't reveal the whole thing though, certain info such as plane slots and soft stats aren't listed in there either.

    Players whom wishes to help out can install Fiddler2 (more information about it can be found here), encounter the enemy with the software on and post the resulting API call with the description (which enemy) here. The wiki administrators/moderators as well as myself will fill in the wiki details from here. Currently I'm doing E7 Easy, and would like to request assistance from players who are generous enough to spend some resources to replay the map at Medium and Hard.

    • ^ If you like the offensive playstyle - have a chance in hitting the enemy flagship CV, you might sortie on it with the Double line.

      If you like the defensive playstyle - have a chance in evading the enemy flagship CV, you might sortie on it with the Diamond.

    • Thank you, I don't know who put the FCS+CIC on Air Defense Princess but it was obviously wrong just from the icon... I wanted the equipment on her, I already had equipment stats (Module:4inch Twin Dual Purpose Gun Mount + CIC)

    • There is no such thing as AP value for a plane. For a ship, they must be bracketing it through sorties, as there isn't any way to see it in api responses.

    • I'll download Fiddler2 but will only be free to help out this weekend (Sat-Sun). Have cleared E-7 hard but willing to help go visit her again. Don't worry about weakening via X and Y nodes, there's a drop that I want from node Y's Wake-chan.

      In the worst case that someone mines the data out before me, I'll keep Fiddler2 and help out for future patches and events.

    • Thank you very much. The new wo-class variants might be difficult to see because the takoyaki sprite is shared between Kai and non-kai versions, and the ship graphics are identical. If possible could you post the responses for all battles containing wo's? Probably easier that way.

    • Saw this coming from last patch. Script I ran saw that something changed with all the enemies and I as soon as I looked into it I was all "Oh boy, this is going to hurt when the event comes". Bad enough we will never know stuff like evasion, but now (practically) everything is gone. Cause I swear if those new DDs have evasion anything 1000 it's a lie.

      Good luck getting the plane slots. I looked a bit into it. Figure you could get # of total fighters and # of total bombers if you shoot down 0 planes in the first part of air battle. Then it's (# of total planes (from first air battle) - # of total bombers (second air battle) = # of fighters) Which means if you run carriers you can't put in any  planes that have AA. Which means you will get air... crushed(?) and be at the mercy of double attacks. That's when I said nope and walked away.

      That being said AV hime is easy as she's only got one plane slot so total planes = number of seaplane bombers. So you dont need to the suffering if you just look at the api call. I guess if EO was REALLY good it would record these possiblities but sometimes you can't get everything. I know I wrote down easy mode AV's slots but can't remember what I said.

    • Guys, pls. The Electronic Observer's encyclopedia seem to record the equips but not the hard stats, which doesn't help our unknown enemy stat woes.

    • @Qunow: So the new wo's apparently have equipment in all 4 slots but they only have 3 slots...wat. And I have no idea where they got the slot numbers, looks like just a guess to me though.

      @All: Could someone post the api response for a node with the new Wo's? We can look at the opening airstrike to see whether the equipped but locked slots are active I think...

      I'm just going to throw this out there as a suggestion: Have we tried talking to the owners of these websites that you link in the drop report references at the bottom of the event page? Like I send every battle I do to kcdb so it would follow that they could probably get you the dumps you need in a relatively short time. They might not store all of my sends but I'm sure there is someone, somewhere that is battling the boss you are looking for. And we both have a mutual interest in getting more data. Even if they dont have something available right away, I'm sure something could be done by the event's end, and then be ready for the next one. And worst case they just say no.

      Just throwing it out there.

      Hmm... maybe I can open up an issue in KC3Kai and maybe KCV once I've found its github repo.

    • Judging from Reynomagnus' results, the Torpedo Bombers in the disabled fourth slot of the new wo's don't attack. There may be a chance that the bombers in the fourth slot were just all shot down by friendly AA, which could be possible if they keep the Flagship II-like distribution of planes. But until I see proof otherwise, I think that the fourth slot being ignored is most likely (if you have zero planes in slot, nothing happens, so if that slot isn't even available, same thing should happen). If you see more than one torpedo per new wo in opening airstrike, please report that so everyone can know!

      EDIT: In addition, Reynomagnus' results also confirm that Kai Flagship IV still has 144 aircraft total, and the Flagship III still has 96 aircraft total. What we still cannot figure out is whether or not the distribution of aircraft between slots is equal, and therefore we still don't have air power (although theoretically, if no fighters are brought into battle I think it is possible to see how many fighters the enemy has. Against a single carrier with a single slot of fighters, that can give us the slot capacity of its' fighter slot).

      I haven't been able to get a battle with AP with a high level of FP - can't get past X without several of my girls being one shotted by friggen Harbour Hime. Someone else will have to do that. I'm not wasting any more resources on E7 before what remains of my shattered-and-taped-back-together-morale is shattered again.

    • Just posting this information out here for now as I can't help due to the fact that I don't use windows.

      This bit of excerpt was from chat between AbsoluteLuck, Cookie-san and myself.

      Question: What does A and B version mean?

      Answer: They're just names that were given to the different versions, it's not necessarily pre-final and final version of the boss. The letter naming is also used for non-event bosses.

      For example, AD/AA hime A form is the hard mode form both pre-final and final but for easy. AD/AA hime is in C form pre-final. She changes to B form for the last dance, in medium, she's B form pre-final and A form last dance so yeah, usually with letter naming in bosses, A>B>C in terms of stat toughness (luckily that's simpler in e7, hard = A, med = B, easy = C)

      Other (related) notes: logbook can't grab the new enemy info just like kc3k.

      so yeah, isolated island demon A/B/C are IDs 634, 635 and 636 respectively

      AD/AA hime A/B/C are 628/629/630

    • Just to supplement Crazy Teitoku, as I was the one who put the pages up and used the letters...

      The lettering was a completely arbitrary suffix I put on the forms because at that time I had no information as to which was stronger or which was weaker. Note that the devs have set precedent of higher api id = stronger as well as lower api id = stronger, so it's really not a reliable way to tell which is the stronger form (and of course, in the future, different forms may not be so clear cut as to be stronger or weaker). Probably from here on out, they will be lettered in increasing order of implementation date, then api id. Of course, if someone other than me ends up creating those pages, anything could happen.

    • Everything from api_start2 is already done (I do it when creating pages, always). What's missing is things we can get from the battle api requests (enemy equips, total aircraft, fp, torp, aa, armor, and hp) for a few enemy ships. You can check the newly added enemies' pages to see which ones are done and which are not.

    • Oh I see what happened there, 634/635/636 API IDs are Easy/Medium/Hard, but the 'official' letter naming for the easy/medium/hard versions are (C)/(B)/(A) respectively, which confused me on the ship and module pages.... O.O I suppose you want to stick to your original lettering of (A) for easy, etc.?

      I'm serious, I've never heard of that, and it's not in the game's code so I know it wasn't the devs.

      EDIT: Oh, you mean the kou/otsu/hei. Now I see what you mean. That wasn't the meaning behind the A/B/C for the enemy variations, it was just an arbitrary way to disambiguate them in the system (in the same way we have Flagship II/III/IV for Wo).

      Rather than sticking to A,B,C, I actually want to give them suffixes based on their stats/equipment instead since we don't know if they'll keep appearing in the difficulties they're in now, or if they'll even stay event-only.
