- Nagato Kai and Kai Ni both have received New Hourly Voicelines, which will only trigger during each hour while she is set as the Secretary Ship (1st Ship of the 1st Main Fleet).
- Although still a Slow BB that's heavily armoured, she has an easier time turning into a fast ship compared to the other battleships. She still requires at least 2 equipment slots though.
- In addition to the original Main Gun fit bonuses, the Nagato-class Kai Ni now possesses unique gun modifiers that allows her to excel during both daytime shelling and night battle.
- Using her and Mutsu Kai for the New Quest "Sortie the New First Squadron!" allows you to obtain a New Kanhon Design Anti-torpedo Bulge (Large).
- Apart from their unique equipment modifiers they can now also equip certain items besides BB-exclusive armaments.
- Nagato Kai Ni is capable of equipping Daihatsu Landing Craft, Daihatsu Landing Craft (Type 89 Medium Tank & Landing Force), Toku Daihatsu Landing Craft, Toku Daihatsu Landing Craft + 11th Tank Regiment, and Special Type 2 Amphibious Tank.
- Nagato Kai Ni is also the only battleship capable of using small-caliber main guns normally exclusive to Destroyers.

Pre Update
Currently KanColle Development Team is under preparation to release multiple Kai Ni remodels during the upcoming Early Summer and Autumn season. The Kai Ni remodels are currently planned for a 5,500t Light Cruiser who has recently started checking her new equipment for Early Summer, an Aviation Cruiser, and for a Capital Battleship. The Kai Ni Remodel for a Battleship currently in development does not apply to just a single Battleship. Please look forward to it.. a bit!

It is sold at the Furniture Store, and requires a Furniture Fairy, which is normally a premium item, but is also able to be obtained by free through Quests. Today's update will include a Quest that gives away a Furniture Fairy.

Naval Base Jukebox Update The Naval Base Jukebox will receive an update where the available listing of the soundtracks will be updated. Also, the new BGM "Combined Fleet Flagship" will be available to listen and designate as your Naval Base BGM.

The Error where Kasuga Maru doesn't correctly trigger her voiceline when being remodeled into Taiyou has been fixed. The Bug where certain Secondary Guns not receiving the bonus from their Upgrades has been fixed as well (It was fixed on the Spring 2017 Event Update)
