  • Seems like Samidare might gonna get her Kai Ni soon.

Gave you a heads up since I recall that she's your starter ship.

EDIT: Turns out Kawakaze is the one who got her Kai Ni...

Maybe next week? Or the next patch after that? Probably within April.

    • I can't bear the sight of uninformed people, but Samidare K2 was never destined this season. Three weeks ago, in the short 3 days of K2 tweets, Samidare was ruled out within the second round of info leak. Not to make matters worse, but shots fired at the end of a Spring Kancolle Japanese festival, and it has been officially announced by a voice actress sent by KC devs to the ending ceremony and reveal the answer to everyone's speculation.

      Ooshio and Kawakaze K2.

    • Umm.... When I saw and tried with PvP Image, it really impresed me ^^

But, I could saw other people Battle in Sortie mode (KC3). But I couldn't found at my place. I hope you could guide me where I could get it. Thanks

    • Click on your Battle History in KC3 Kai Strategy Room. Then find the sortie that you want a record of, and click the battle ID number (on the extreme left of the bar representing that run). You can then download the picture. Upload it on this website (http://kc3kai.github.io/kancolle-replay/battleplayer.html) and you can view the battle.

If you want to let others see the battle, you have to upload the picture to some other image hosting website which does not shrink the quality of the picture. Otherwise the battle will not be able to be replayed.

  • Just asking, but would you mind if we co-author a short story where we meet each other?

I'll be bringing 6 kanmusus for my visit, which I would like to reserve:

    Rosters are negotiable.

I'm not coming over just for Yamato and Yahagi. Really.

      Salutations (Revision Candidate)
Admiral Ciel: "Looks like our fleet have arrived. Aoba, can you aim the camera upwards?"

Aoba: "Yes, yes. Actually, I have quite an experience taking aerial photos."

Admiral Ciel: "You do know that this will be a continious shot, right? Keep as many planes under the lense for as long as you can."

Aoba: "Well, I have the fairies to help with the spotting, so it's no problem."

Admiral Ciel: "Katsuragi, think your air fleet could do it?"

Katsuragi: "Ugh... I'm a bit depressed over your last minute plan change, but allright. I'll show you the result of my training with Zuikaku-senpai."

      after the aerobatics show

Admiral Ciel: "How about it? It's not very often that you saw such an exquisite propeller-driven aircrafts in aerobatics, did you?"

Zuikaku: "Well I have to say it's not half bad, to say at least."

Admiral Ciel: "And here's the main show, Kirishima, Bismarck and Prinz Eugen, start loading the blue shells as trained."

Kirishima: "Distance, angling, checked. Shells loaded and ready to fire."

Admiral Ciel: "Teruzuki and Long-10cm Gun-chan, lead the gun salute as you were trained."

      10cm Gun-chan : [ Tch, I could've perform a splendid three-volley salute on my own, but I'm stuck with such a dinky role. ]

      Teruzuki: "Long-10cm Gun-chan, insubordination is a no-no!"

10cm Gun-chan : [ Heh, my Meister saw through me. Oh well, I'll have plenty of time to mock that pansy of an Admiral later. ]

Admiral Ciel: "In position." (after the camcoder is in position and aerobatic planes flown into the safe distance)

      Admiral Ciel: "Begin the salute."

One by one, each shells were fired at a very high angle. At the first glance, they looked like the Type 3 shells, but they are coloured in blue instead. All shots were done at very high angle of around 80-90 degrees, which is an implausible feat for the heavy main guns on an actual ship. In total, the shot orders are

      - 1 shots each from all three shipgirls at standstill (3)
      - 2 shots from each battleship at standstill (7)
      - 2 shots from each battleship together in synch during maneuver (11)
      - 2 shots from each battleship in succession during maneuver (13)
      - 1 shots from each battleship and 2 shots from Prinz Eugen while slowing down (17)

As each shells reached their peak, they gave a spectacular explosion, and the shotgun shell is dispersed at all direction instead of the tip of the shell, giving it the appearance of a firework. All shells successfully exploded at their intended altitudes, giving the look of a truly impressive firework scene, except one...

Murasame: "Eh? One of the shells doesn't seem to be working..."

Kirishima: "Admiral, We got a trouble. The proximity fuse doesn't seem to work as intended. At this rate it might land upon Eugen-san..."

Admiral Ciel: "Say what? Can't any of you girls just shoot it down?"

Kirishima: "Well, all of our big gun barrels needs some time to cool down, so..."

Due to the shipgirl protection mechanism, Prinz Eugen can survive a single critical hit, even if it's from a usually-fatal magazine explosion as long as she doesn't take a second. This last-chance hit point is what allowed the shipgirl to survive long enough to be repaired.
However, given the shell's current trajectory, it'll land directly on one of her main turrets or torpedo tubes, which would cripple her long enough to force her to spend much of the Christmas Day in the drydock.

Admiral Ciel: "Katsuragi! Send your fighters to shoot it down!"

Katsuragi: "It's not possible. Our fighters won't make it!"

Bismarck: "We can intercept it safely if you would allow Teruzuki to fire. Permission, now!"

Admiral Ciel: "All right... Teruzuki, can you do it?" (prepares his earplug in a hurry)

Admiral Hitoshi: "Should I call Akizuki in to help as well?"

Admiral Ciel: "Thanks, but I believe Teruzuki can handle this fine. Here's some earplugs, hurry up and cover your ears with it!"

Admiral Hitoshi: "Roger. ... This is going to be one explosive Christmas morning."

      Prinz Eugen: "Uwa-uwaaah!"

Then it suddenly exploded with a thunderous sound, with the fireworks expanded upward like a mushroom.

The 10cm barrel was dropped off, as it is melting away from the excessively powerful shot.

Left 10cm Gun-chan : [ Seriously, forcing me to blow out my barrel for something like this... ]

Prinz Eugen: "Sorry... I'll make it up for your favor later."

      Right 10cm Gun-chan : [ Heh, you can thank me a plenty later. ]

Ooyodo and Graf Zeppelin arrived soon after the loud explosion from Teruzuki's railguns

Ooyodo: "Sorry we're taking so long. Sendai-san was quite persistent, so it took a little while to shake her off..."

      (a line from Hitoshi)

Graf Zeppelin: "Pardon me for the brutal honesty, but it seems like there's a small problem going on with the salutation, from what I saw."

Admiral Ciel: "Well, it's a small mishap indeed. Though we got an unexpectedly good finish from the improvised performance, so all's well that end's well in the end."

Admiral Hitoshi: "Ooyodo-san, I've heard from Yahagi that you were chased off by Sendai-san over the contents of your tablet..."

      Ooyodo: "It's a long story..."

After the aerobatics and gun salute show, all five visiting kanmusus landed on the berthing panels perfectly. The sound of clapping hands can be heard as they ascended to the base.

Admiral Ciel: "Well done, all of you. I'm a bit worried when things gets a bit out of hand, but nobody was injured thanks to swift decision from Bismarck and Teruzuki."

Admiral Hitoshi: "That was a very impressive show indeed. And good work on getting that dud out of the air before it caused any trouble."

Admiral Ciel: "I have Teruzuki to thank for that... otherwise I might have to send Prinz into the dock for a whole day. Would be too bad if she had to do that on this auspicious day."

Bismarck: "It's because you had rushed the production of those improvised shells. We were expecting these shells to be readied for the New Year."

Admiral Ciel: "Sharp critics as always, eh? But let's leave that for later, will ya. A little introduction would be in order now that we're on a trip."

Bismarck: "Ahem. I'm the battleship Bismarck. Under the command of Admiral Ciel, I'll be conducting the naval review on this base. Pleased to meet you."

Ooyodo: "I'm the light cruiser Ooyodo. On the behalf of our Admiral, we express our welcome for your visit to this naval base. I assume that the naval review is part of your goal for visiting our base?"

Admiral Ciel: "I didn't recall ever saying that this would be a naval review."

Bismarck: "Oh, but you do. I do recall that Yamato and Yahagi are among your top visiting goals because you wouldn't construct them yourself."

Admiral Ciel: "I-It was just that I heard of the girls as part of the fleet. I mean, come on, the rest of the girls are in line."

Admiral Ciel: (and that's before mentioning that Yahagi was giving a funny look as well.)

Bismarck: "Ah, right. Prinz Eugen, can you speak it well?"

Prinz Eugen: "Of course, Bismarck-neesama, I didn't spend months of training for nothing."

Prinz Eugen: "Ahem, G-good morning. I'm the German heavy cruiser, Prinz Eugen, Nice to meet you."

Shoukaku: "My, both of them are pretty fluent."

Kirishima: "Ahem, Mic check, okay. How do you do, I'm Kirishima (desu)."

Teruzuki: "I'm the second ship of Akizuki-class air defense destroyer, Teruzuki. As with Akizuki-neesan, it is a great honor to be in your care!"

Katsuragi: "I'm the third ship of Unryuu-class aircraft carrier, Katsuragi. Zuikaku-senpai, did you see that?"

Bismarck: "Way to go to throw the formality out of the window."

Zuikaku: (Right here I have this girl who calls me 'senpai' and I'm standing here slack-jawed, staring at her while thinking this 'kouhai' of mine looks somewhat cool...)

Graf Zeppelin: (So this is the famed Schlachtschiff Bismarck...) Ahem... Guten Morgen. I'm the aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin assigned to our Admiral Tadano Hitoshi from Hashirajima.

Graf Zeppelin: (German) [ That was a splendid performance, despite the mishap near the end. I express my welcome for all of you on behalf of our Admiral. ]

      (after introduction of Hitoshi's fleet)

Zuikaku: "But if you two are sisters, why do you have such difference in gun caliber?"

Shoukaku: "Zuikaku... they both introduced themselves as a battleship and heavy cruisers respectively..."

Bismarck: "Observant as expected from the Carrier Division. To begin with, we're not really sisters as in "sister ships" like you two. Rather, we're sisters-in-arms as some of the few German shipgirls to be transferred to Japan, and with both of us knowing each other from Rheinübung, she began adopting the honorifics as she becomes more proficient in Japanese."

Teruzuki: "Hmm, I wonder where Akizuki-nee is... ah, found her. Admiral, can I meet Akizuki-nee?"

Admiral Hitoshi: "Be my guest." (presses his communication device) "Akizuki, come down here. You have a guest."

Teruzuki: "All right, Then I'll be in your care... Hyah!"

Yahagi: (rubbing Teruzuki's from the back) "Oh, my. For being Akizuki-san's little sister, you sure have quite a size. Tell me, where did you get these fuel tanks? Hm?"

Teruzuki: "Ah, that's not where the Anti-Aircraft Fire Director is. Wait, Choujuusenchihou-chan, don't get mad..."

This of course provoked anger from the Long 10-cm Gun-chan, And sure enough, they opened fire on Yahagi on the spot... except that they're no longer effective, due to the barrels being blown off from the earlier shot leaving them effectively muzzle-less.
Under normal combat situations, the barrel rarely melts off even from supersonic rounds, though in the case of her last shot, the firing mechanism had accelerated the bullets well past the design limit for the barrel.
Teruzuki does kept some spare barrels around just like Akizuki, but Kirishima had somehow anticipated the possibility of a provoked friendly fire, and held it off.

Kirishima: "So my calculation is correct... Ahem, Mic check, It's unwise to harass her like that, Yahagi."

Yahagi: (moves both of her hands away) "All right, my bad. Still, that was impressive. ... In more ways than one."

Kirishima : "And while you're being impressed in various ways, our dear little girl here was sinking in the thought along the line of Mou, Yahagi-senpai is such a bully... touching me there right when I'm at my most vulnerable... I can't be a bride anymore... She's quite a shy little girl, I'll have you know."

Yahagi: Ah, I didn't intend to do that, It's just that I can't help... well, gauging the size when you're that much bigger than Akizuki-san..."

Admiral Hitoshi: (lets out an exasperated sigh) "I think I'll be calling Noshiro, or rather, she's already here..."

Noshiro: "Yahagi? Are you here? I've been looking everywhere for you, Yamato is requesting you for extra helping hand for the party... did something happen?"

Kirishima : "Well, Yahagi did quite a number to Teruzuki here..."

looking at Teruzuki who was her covering her chest with her shoulder in teary eyes

Yahagi: "Ah, Noshiro-nee. Yamato is calling me?"

Admiral Hitoshi: "Good timing, Noshiro. Please take her along as you go. And tell Yamato to keep her occupied as well."

      Noshiro: "Will do."

Yahagi: "Guess it can't be helped, huh? Well, if you're in need for some night services, I'll be there just for you, Admiral."

Admiral Hitoshi: I'll be fine without that, so just go ahead for now. You'll be traumatizing Teruzuki right here as well."

Noshiro proceeded to make Yahagi bow to Teruzuki slowly together. Afterwards, everyone looks on as Yahagi gets dragged away by Noshiro by the collar.

Seems like we'll have to reorganize the sitrep of kanmusus for the upcoming scene.

      Christmas Party
Yuudachi: "Merry Christmas, poi. This calls for, like, throwing a totally amazing-ish party!"

Kawakaze: "Admiral, it's Christmas you know! Christmas! Cake, Where's the cake? Yay~"
Shigure: "Unforturnately, the cake is already offered for our guests..."
Kawakaze: "Whaaat? I've been busy preparing for the party only to end up missing the cake, that's quite unfair for us not to get even a slice."
Shigure: "Actually, I've saved up a slice for you, it even has a Ferrero topping on it. T-try it."
Kawakaze: "Yay. Thanks, Shigure-aneki. That's the first time I've ever seen a topping like this though. Is this a ...chocolate?"
Yuudachi: "Mmm... the cake is so sweet and delicious poi! The chocolate ball from the visiting Admiral-poi are tasty too..."
Kawakaze: "Uwaaah! That was fast, Yuudachi-ane. But still, that's quite an exotic kind of chocolate he gifted to us there..."

Murasame: "Since we're on Christmas Day, I'll feed you a chocolate. Come on, say ahh!" (while pinching a Ferrero Rocher)
Samidare: "U-um... I-it's allright, I can eat it by myself..."
Admiral Ciel: "It's not very often she makes this offer, you know. It kinda make me jealous of your sisterly love, you know."
Murasame: "Oh, you, still gets jealous so easily even though I had fed all of you quite a lot yesterday."
Admiral Ciel: "That was a subtle way for me to say "it's fine" for our shy girl on the spot, really. She may not look that part, but she's quite consciously aware of our relationship, you know."

Admiral Hitoshi: "That's quite a lot of Ferrero Rocher being shipped for this occasion..."
Admiral Ciel: "Actually, this is nothing compared to the amount I had brought for yesterday."

And here's the blog containing the story.

    • Sisterly Clash (Prelude)

Haruna: "I'm the fast battleship Haruna, assigned to Admiral Hitoshi-kun. So you're visiting Admiral? Nice to meet you."
Admiral Ciel: "Ah, so you're the one of Hitoshi-san's most prized shipgirls. I have heard a lot about you from his memoirs."
Haruna: "The most prized to Admiral... is that so? Haruna is honored."
Admiral Ciel: "One of your Admiral's most prized shipgirls, that is."
Haruna: "Ah, I see... That's right... Admiral is quite a platonic guy, isn't it..."
Admiral Ciel: "I'm afraid that is the case, yes."
Kirishima: "You know, she's clinging quite a lot more to her Admiral than even Kongou-oneesan. I wonder if she'll be allright like that?"
Admiral Ciel: "Her heart seems to be as fragile as stained glass, to be sure."

      (things goes down from here)

Kirishima: "Bring it on. I'll show you the might of the 2nd Fleet Flagship."
Admiral Ciel: "I have confidence in your ability, but... we should keep this squabble away from armed conflict."
Haruna: "Then, how about the King's Game...? Our Admiral can issu..."
Admiral Ciel: "I'm afraid that I'll enforce my veto power over that. I don't think either of us can afford to surrender the command to our shipgirls for gameplay's sake."

      Interview (Part 1)
Admiral Ciel: About me? Well, let's see... I'm one of the Admirals who are assigned into a naval base in Saiki Bay. I also work in the intelligence network as a moderator there, and that is all you need to know...

(Aoba gave the Admiral an unamused look)
Admiral Ciel: (correcting his glasses) Seems like I gave an unsatisfactory answer there.
Aoba: But of course. You have refused my interview twice already, so I would really expect to get some juicy scoop over this one.
Admiral Ciel: To be fair though, I have my hands filled during your first two attempts. I even appointed part of the visit with the possibility of your interview in mind.
Aoba: You're such a savvy, eh? I thought you're just here to show off your fleet, but you're surprisingly predictive.
Admiral Ciel: Your Admiral have posted a rather wacky interview there. Among other things, he had divulged his country of origin and his policies of women there.
Aoba: "Oh ooh, As expected from an Admiral from the Intelligence Division. You sure did your research."
Admiral Ciel: "That being said though, I'm not alone in doing the intels, and I'm not really the best at all the jobs in there either."
Aoba: "So, so, what are your roles in the Intelligence Division?"
Admiral Ciel: "Simply put, we are basically establishing the informations pretaining the new kanmusus and maps through Wikia network. These informations are valuable for both new and experienced Admirals alike in order to successfully carry out their operations, especially during the seasonal events."
Aoba: "Care to explain your division's modus operandi to us?"
Admiral Ciel: "Well, for the new maps, the High Command usually gave some of the information away when they're introduced. We do have the equipments needed to map out the operation site and their bosses, but the lesser Abyssals stays unseen from the bird's eye, as such, we have to rely upon the clearer Admirals to send their fleet to scout the unknown enemy and fill in the blanks."
Aoba: "Then, how about the new Kanmusus? I recall from Ooyodo-san that you had managed to accurately predict them, all the way to their primary stats."
Admiral Ciel: "As for the new kanmusus, their name are obtained form the divination from the head of the Research Division, and their vessel were prematurely summoned in order to "promote" them, so to speak."
Aoba: "So, who is this Research Division you mentioned earlier? Is it a secret organization or something?"
Admiral Ciel: "It's officially called the "Self-Defense Armament Research & Development" and are said to be founded at around the same time as when the Abyssals were first spotted, and they have been providing us with many invaluable weapons for our Kanmusus to stand up against the Abyssals."
Aoba: "Seems like the story they made up for the front, eh? Did you ever get a look of their insides?"
Admiral Ciel: "Unforturnately, almost nobody from the Intelligence Division really know a thing about their modus operandi. As you can see, our Intelligence Division were actually self-appointed organization by our fellow Admirals. The Research Division, on the other hand, were under the regulations by the High Command to perform their modus operandi under top secrecy, even from the Admirals."
Aoba: "I see, so you didn't know much about them either... That's too bad... "

  • I know that it's a little late, but congrats for clearing the Fall 2015 Event E5. I'm still working on clearing E4, and it'll be my first (and maybe the only) all-hard event run, as anticlimatic it may be.

Just in case you haven't realized already, you can do that one 50 weekly transport kill at E4 Node M. This sidequest will unlock the "win 1-5 boss node 3 times", which would net you 3 improvement materials.
And no, I'm not tempting you to waste your resource for Prinz Eugen or Roma, since you'll be lucky to get even a gold-rarity ship there.

In my experience these PT imps fell down real quick with secondary guns from main fleet's BBs equipped with 15.5cm guns, plus a Saiun and T2 recon aircraft on your CVLs for best accuracy. Even a head-on engagement would allow the PT Imps to survive through day and night in my experience.

And finally, there's always next time for Prinz Eugen and Roma, particularly for Prinz Eugen since I seriously doubt that she's gonna stay a event map normal-node rare drop forever. Graf Zeppelin is a bit of a golden chance right now though, so she should be your main focus in your E6 run. Again, there's always next time, but it's worth a try nevertheless.

    • Come to think of it, the most open part of my origin that I did disclose in Relations is the A/S/L.

What he does when the girls are not looking is something else. Right now nobody knows the ring and the paperworks are already in his black box. Or do they? :V

Command spells sure are convenient... though I'd just rather have the little guy pull ranks and push the big red button when things go out of control. "You do bad things and you don't listen, I press this button, I go kaboom, you go kaboom, we all go kaboom. The end."

As for my fleet on my side, I only divulged on who I'm marrying with Akashi and Ooyodo before the marriage quest, though given how conspicuous the training Murasame had went through, it had practically became an open secret at the time, with Murakumo, Suzuya, Choukai, Kongou, Kirishima, Bismarck, Shigure and even Shiratsuyu noticed her level inflation.

Convienient, yes, but it's more of a commandment spell, and it has its limitations as well. Among other things, it pretty much ineffective for tactical commands in battle since it unconditionally interrupts the shipgirl's concentration at that moment, i.e. trying to order Yukikaze to do torpedo-cut in would cancel it instead. Also, enforcing too many rules in there would weaken the binding effect as a whole, so I'll have to choose the 3 absolute and 7 mandatory commandment and switch them as necessary.

It's the thing that kept me alive from both Cigar Gun-chan incidents actually (by forcibly overriding Gun-chan's aim into a near miss), there's no way I could possibly survived even a single AA gunfire, let alone a hypersonic one (that's how Teruzuki's AA could surpass the Aegis-guided missile destroyers). Yeah, I'm touching Teruzuki's... fuel tanks when she's armed with Cigar Gun-chan at my own peril it seems.

  • Yo, bro! Good luck and good hunting on the coming Fall 2015.

I read that you'll be tanking a lot of stuff IRL, like doing a group project solo... Aye, that's not gonna leave your freetime intact by a long shot. At any rate, hope you've been training your shipgirls and crafting good equipments. A good loadout can go a long way to easing the pre-boss fights.

By the way, I'm a freelance artist (mostly 2D, though) so if you need some help, give me a nudge. I might not be able to help you with 3D assets, but if it's 2D, I think I can show you a few shortcuts you can use. (My laptop is a 9-year-old Toshiba, though. No fancy 3D rendering available...)

    • Well, I've been doing quite some stuff in the interim just to make myself feel sure, but I guess no amount of prep is ever enough for any difficulty. Though as it stands right now I'm kinda freezing any full grinding plans I have, I'm limiting my sorties for daily clears right now, so any EXP gain for anyone who needs it comes second. Abukuma will probably see her Kai 2 after the event, Fubuki and Akatsuki might advance a few levels but no Kai 2 yet, overall... I have to see how far I can go in the event with what I have now. My goal right now is to clear it at least. Of course, where better rewards are offered on higher difficulties, I'll push as far as I can. But too much of it and I'll have to back down nevertheless.

Also thanks for the heads-up, but as far as assets are concerned, my machine can handle most of the rendering by itself, I have my ways... Unfortunately that's the only thing I have confidence in. Yeah, I really should've considered help instead of trying to tackle a lot of it on my own while not being able to do things I am very poor with on my own such as doing matte painting for backgrounds (which I am very terrible with).

You'll probably hear from me if things gets desperate on my side. Though I hope I won't have to come to that lol.

    • For now I'll see what the event has in store for us including the amount of salt the devs want to throw on us. I'm thinking doing something along the lines of how I did for Summer ("3rd-class bearers' clean-up jobs for the vets") and that wouldn't change even if AD Hime shows herself again, I'll just say I'll deliver her the Rocket Punch I failed to give her last time. :V

Also I'll have to see how far I go. I might have to rush some clearings because the start of the event also coincides with the opening week of my next semester in university. Even worse, it's the semester where final year projects are going to make my time a living hell... couple that with me solo-ing what would be a group effort (boohoonobodywantstoteamupwithmetoobadsosad enough me, no more sob stories), so... my only fear for the event is running out of resources again like last Summer (though to be fair, I kinda wasted a lot trying to brute-force it and not having enough to finish the job). I've been doing some resource pooling as well as some leveling in the interim but honestly, I guess only the day of the event will tell where I am and where I want to go.

Oh and no one will be getting any rings anytime soon even if they cross the finishing line (I feel so kuso saying this though :V).

Well, good luck there, at least the armor protection gimmick wouldn't be fully functional until the next season.

Oh, wow, yeah, that's a living hell allright. May I ask which course did you take and what kinda final project didjya have?

Well, no worries, you did have another season or two to decide. I've planned to marry Murasame way back before the Spring Event, and it took me quite awhile (after 2 events) to hand her the one ring. You can see it here.

Animation & visual effects design, and I have two pending tasks at hand: finalizing my 3D assets for the production phase of my final year project which will start in a week - final goal being an animated short between 3~5 minutes long, and a write-up for my dissertation on a topic that's separate, though not completely unrelated, from my final year project.

Though if I get through this safely I imagine myself having a lot of time to kill before any time the devs decide to sic Winter 2016 on us.

      Only time will tell, though.

P/S: Murasame is one of those DDs I hope to see a Kai 2 just for even newer art and hopefully hourlies as well, though not within the immediate time frame, because she's one of these girls whose character makes me curious. I wonder how her hourlies will sound like. Maybe when that comes around I'll get to that as quickly as I can like what I've done for several of them before I even registered myself to the wikia.

Shigure's hourlies turned me into goo, Unryuu was because... well, Unyuu, heh heh; Isokaze's made me become very aware on how bad of a cook she is... though I gave up transcribing Ooi's after I reached her 0400 line, and handed it over to other eager editors there.

I haven't been doing any translations for the wiki for quite some time now, due to Kancolle itself added into my list of businesses as well as other projects, but maybe the next new girls will be points of interest for me.

I wish I could help, but animation isn't a field which I'm good at. Especially with 3D assets, as my computer can barely render 3D assets in Photoshop (it only has 2GB RAM after all).

Anyway, as for the Winter event, I would suggest you to prepare an ample resource at least, because the Winter event is a "counterattack" event, so can expect shiplocking and event maps almost as hard as the Summer Event.
