Neither did I lol, and Maruyu is useful for modernizing luck. Collect 5 and kai them and modernize them all at the same time to give one ship +8 Luck permanently. Mine all went to Amatsukaze :3 so she's a lucky destroyer behind yukikaze and shigure atm.
Oh with the new KC3 you can download this file if you click on it somewhere, you can send it to others and rewatch a playback of your battle. Do you have battle prediction on? Or did you finish night battle with all green too?
If you click the sortie number when you look at your map or event runs. There's a link to the replay page there too where you choose the file and it'll play a summarized battle for you. I can see my summer 2015 E7 runs all over again :3
Lol, I've read a lot that many admirals get a lot of their levels from events. I won't be doing too much hardcore leveling outside events either now. I only have one more ship I want to blueprint left too.
3-5 south route is easy as it only requires a light fleet, but more tries to pass preboss nodes. Most of the time i just use 1CL 5DD so I don't waste runs going off route. You can use a CAV instead of a DD but you can go off route in two places.
3-5 north route I've only done for quests, but require a much larger and more expensive fleet. I believe you also have to pass Hoppo too.
Depends on how confident I feel about my girls. If I have a weaker girl, I might avoid taking too much damage either by adding a boiler or damecon and doing double line. But for my runs since everyone was high level I used line ahead to avoid closing torpedo damage.
You probably won't be able to sink everyone since it's a single shelling phase and neither side has a BB. But you'll need to evade hopefully most of the closing torpedo. Usually 2-3 of the larger ships are not chuuha'd so you got to tank the hits also depends on if there's green tea or not.
I'm doing C-F-H-L. I did do south route for clear though. Although for me it seems like i definitely need a BB for second round of shelling to have a chance of killing the boss. Oh it might be because i cleared this map on hard though, did you?
well i just got another kashima. (first one was event reward)
24 runs to clear, 1 stupid run cause i was half asleep, 4th run akizuki, 29th for hatsuzuki, 36th kashima, i've complete 56 runs now. although i think more than half aren't S ranked. Everyone's full of t3 depths and sonars and SS-hime stil doesn't take much damage unless i get lucky and crit.
ahaha yeah.... i definitely need to pull those maya for big maps and a zuki for lesser maps. I think i even had kasumi go for AACI setup this event just cause i had maya and teruteru elsewhere. my akizuki is still only lvl 43 from last event drops.
leveling depends on which ship... but i'm lazy and cheap i tend to just level big ships in 3-2 and let smaller ships leech. Also pvp is a great way for small ships to level too if you get all SS fleets and such.
Uh medium is hard to S rank even with boss support :/ i wish i had a second akashi though...
6 hours left AMAGI :DDD ah well a second akashi isn't neccessary really. I can still do my improvements it only helps if you're in desparate need of repair slots. In which you throw all of your chuuha taiha'd ships on your docks and you can repair the light damaged ships in your main fleet.
I was just getting to the point if i completely ran out of ships that were sparkled... i'd just give up for this event too.. like 1 BB left and 1 CVL left that was even slightly sparkled to be flagship.
check the top of http://kancolle.wikia.com/wiki/Expedition to see how to unlock 37,38. I'd say it's a huge priority in terms of being able to get fuel and ammo fast. I'd say almost everyone uses 2, 37, 38 the most, then followed by other expeditions depending on time and if they're looking for steel or baux instead.
I'll give you my templete, it's not the best probably, but it's pretty easy and you don't have to kill yourself to do it and it works during events too. So on a day to day basis i'd be using fleet 2 for expedition 2 to clear daily quests, fleet 3 is reserved for either 37 if you want ammo or 38 if you want fuel. fleet 3 is a bit of a wild card, but i choose to do 36 because it covers steel and bauxite because the other two do not.
But here's how it changes depending. I typically use fleet 2 with 4 DD that i'm trying to level below lvl 20, I switch them out afterwards. I do not sparkle these ships as the gain isn't worth the pain to me and it's my main source of buckets. However right before i got to sleep and i'm done for the day I add 1 CL and do expedition 21 for more fuel and ammo. 21 occasionally has a chance to get a great success because it requires drums. I tend to leave drums on at least 2 of those destroyers and a drum on my CL. (yahagi atm she's lvl 31 from doing this alone)
I sparkle for every expedition 36, 37 and 38. If you have AV or CL that can equip daihatsu i'd also use them. (maximum of 4 daihatsu for 20% boost)
Okay but now here's the kicker for events. So you need fleet 2 for combined fleet. I keep fleet 3 on doing 37 or 38 because it has the best resource regen. I instead use fleet 4 for my 4 DD's doing expedition 2. In the case I finally need a node or boss support, I temporarily give up doing fleet 4 for that fleet. In the rare rare case I need both node and boss support (after a lot of planning) hopefully fleet 3 will have finished and you can now dedicate all 4 fleets to battle.
Fleet 2: unsparkled 4DD doing endless expedition 2 for buckets and ammo, expedition 21 (add CL) when sleeping. Moved to Fleet 4 during events and use of combined fleet.
Fleet 3: sparkled either 37 or 38 for ammo or fuel (not both cause it burns sparkles too fast) switch depending on which resource you need more.
Fleet 4: sparkled 36 for fuel but mainly steel and baux. Lowest priority, first to be removed during events.
Some side notes are that to keep you DD, CL and AV sparkled i use BW1 quest every week to sparkle at 1-1. Also if you have DD to level up, try to win with a DD in PVP. Best against all SS fleets where you can bring 3+DD with depth charges and bring 1 BB or BBV with seaplanes. Use the sparkled ships from PVP in expedition to save on resources. Also before events get more fuel than ammo, if you're still doing expedition 2 a lot that 100 ammo gain adds up and you'll be burning more fuel than ammo in the long haul.
..... This got really long, but hopefully you get what i'm doing here. I eventually just came up with this and it works really well for me. Go ahead if you have any questions.
Best way to normally sparkle ships is 1-1, however if you have an ASW DD you can sparkle in 1-5. Do beware that your big ships can get scratch damage which can cost a lot. In those cases I sortie your ship + 3 DD and go double line to minimize the risk. Still no guarentee though. However 1-1 also gets you your boss encounters for bw1 which is why it's recommended.
You're welcome! I wanted to give you more support too. I feel like there's not enough people on the fleet preparedness board that emphasize love for certain ships and always just recommended certain ships based off of stats. I've tried to be a bit nicer and not berate new admirals lol.
I've recently reached a baseline in my fleet where I can probably pick and choose new ships. Such that I'll be able to farm luck stats for certain ships so they'll be as good as those other lucky ships. Amatsukaze atm <3 got her to 33 luck. Next will be Samidare or Haguro.
I've also wanted to give you a more proper evaluation, so I guess I have time now. You're right to be able to challenge all hard for a relatively easy event or a mix of hard then medium.
Also another thing about using unideal ships that people don't usually recommend to use. You may be doing it already, but I'll just put it out there. Typically when using someone like Samidare I would recommend giving her flagship and give her night battle equipment like star shell or the searchlight. Carriers, I tend to make them reppuu mules and give more bombers to the higher level CVs. Of course if you have skilled lookouts you can make more use of low luck ships.
Looking through your fleet, it actually is much stronger than my fleet when I began Spring 2015 as my first event. (can see in my profile) Looking back I considered that a easy to medium event. I really want to tell everyone on the fleet preparedness board to chill out and that the event won't be that hard...
Ships I don't really have any complains about it, you have a decent variety although if neccessary you might have to use lower level ships on earlier maps to save ships on later maps. That's how I pulled through through E4 Medium of Spring. Sorry for bad quality ==> Fusou and Yamashiro I do recommend getting to kai-ni sooner or later, that 23 plane slot is useful sometimes and won't be easily shot down. Plus the proto 41cms are nice.
Crafting is an area I would focus on. I would suggest crafting more Observation planes, better contact and LOS when you need that little bit for certain maps like 2-5. Definitely need less Reppuu with new mechanics but still at least 6 maybe? Radar crafting too for Type 33 and 32s, maybe 14s. Typically Type 33 for DD as an upgrade to Type 22s. Type 32s for battleships when you need a good radar or when I do support expeditions I equip CV 2-3 bombers + 1-2 best accuracy radars. Battleships I do 2 guns + 2 radars since there's not artillery spotting. DD's I don't care since they don't really contribute. Try farming for Akashi and start upgrading. I started late too was about 100 or 101.
Thanks for the additional review, I'll keep those suggestions in mind ! So far I've been focusing on leveling a lot, but crafting more planes and radars would definitely be a good idea. Not sure what to do about next month's blueprint though. I'm well aware that using it on one of the Fusou Class would improve the overall balance of my fleet, but now that I have Abukuma, it might be wiser to use it on her instead. Not to mention there's Zuikaku's K2 coming in the following months.
Also, good luck with your luck farming ! That's a pretty time-consuming task, but it's probably worh it !
You're definitely more than welcome to take whatever codes I have especially for a Shoukaku fan :) I don't know coding too well besides really really basic things and similiarly have taken from others, just give credit to those to be safe.
Sounds like you just started, how long have you been playing?
Thank you ^^
Yes, I started about 3 months ago, so this is my first event. Thankfully I am very close to finishing E-6 on Medium, so after the event I am going to focus on leveling Shoukaku. . she's very lovely :)
Ah wow? first event and you made it to almost finishing medium? That's pretty impressive from my view being able to stock pile that amount of ships and levels in 3 months time. Personally I'm going crazy doing E7 medium at the moment. I'l be out of resources soon if she doesn't fall soon ;_;
Hope you can finish E6 medium at least! so you can kai-2 her :)
Well, I only did E1-3 and E6 on medium. I have been stuck on E6 final dance for a while now heheh. . close to 20 sorties for the last kill alone. Having used up half of my fuel on it, I think I'll change my goal to clearing E6 by event's end by doing 4-5 tries a day.
How is E7? I read a lot of comments about the suffering. .
kanji for a person that doesn't have an asian background is especially difficult. it's difficult even for me to say where to start learning, I've just grown up with it. Then there's the beginner kanji that aren't even useful which makes it difficult to remember. Best to find similiar sounding words or find sounds and associate images of them to help you remember meanings. Using emotions is the best method to remembering things. ex. one of my favorites is that 空気 is kuuki, but it sounds like cookie :D although it just means air. who doesn't love cookies?
However if I'd give a recommendation it'd be to first start studying the basic grammer like the ている form from before. But look closely and try to remember the general shape of the kanji used. typically they'd be using a lot of subjects like 先生, 学生 (teacher/student) and verbs like 食べる, 飲む.(eat/drink) These will be the kanjis you'll always be seeing in a lot of situations.
I say general shape or form mainly because its difficult to write every stroke, and remember the order and direction all at once. You just need to expand your vocabulary first and try to recognize patterns in the characters. Flash cards would definitely help, and don't worry about the splitting 先生 or others into both parts yet just try to get the feel. If you do split them up you'll learn that the characters individually mean first/before + born meaning a person older or born before you. So that's another method to help learn them.
However once you get to a certain level of mastery you'll have to distinguish between similiar kanji like 土 and 士. You'll need to be able to pick out certain things and in this case the only difference is that the two horizontal strokes the middle is shorter and the bottom is longer and vice versa for the other, they have different meanings too but all that is just experience and will come with time.
Definitely get a teacher if you can, I'm sure that'll help a lot of course :)
(was thinking all day figuring out how to respond to you lol)
Wow thank you I just learned like a whole week of content thanks to your message ! Finding a japanese teacher in my country is kinda difficult to be honest, I'm not sure I can find someone that easily. :(
yeah i understand how it feels. well there's all sorts of online lessons/services that i've heard of like http://www.japanesepod101.com/ in lieu of a real life teacher. i actually found my online tutor from a flyer at a local anime convention. as for text books we use the genki series at the local school. a personal online favorite of mine is maggiesensei.com and she has a pretty organized site and is very responsive. it's also very very colorful @_@' which i love lol.
but of course most of all just enjoy learning and have fun, cause if you make it a chore you can come to hate it. and if you have any questions, I'll try my best to answer it. 頑張ってくださいね！
ahaha i see... well if there's english too that you don't understand i'll try to help too? if you don't mind me asking what is your native language?
depending on how you actually wanted to say that phrase I assume it is like "In the future, I will try harder!" I would rewrite it as 未来に頑張ってみます！Your sentence is actually pretty understandable, but just a few tips.
In Japanese especially compared to english, the "I" in sentences is often dropped and you have to use context to figure it out. Easily I can see that you are of course referring to yourself :) Also sentence order isn't a big deal, the only difference is that you're saying "I try hard in the future" vs "In the future I'll try hard" but typically the time or place is before the verb.
Then there's the て verb forms that I don't know if you have studied yet. All verbs have a dictionary form and can be made into て form. the best way I can describe it as, it's an intermediate form like the new akitsushima that is sorta an intermediate to help you get to the next node or in this case to one of many て + みる form. all it does is change it to "try to do verb" others uses for て later being ている or ておく, etc.
so 頑張る -> 頑張って -> 頑張ってみる -> 頑張ってみます
to work hard -> to work hard (intermediate form) -> try to work hard (casual) -> try to work hard (more formal)
ahaha although I don't think i'm qualified enough to be called a sensei >.<; if I'd say so myself I'm more like an intermediate.
Typically japanese sentence structures are subject object verb, but usually the time or place is placed in the beginning of the setence. I'm not quite sure how it relates to French, but it's different from english and chinese even which are subject verb object.
十時に昼ご飯を食べました。じゅうじにひるごはんをたべました。- At 10 o'clock, I ate lunch.
今東京で済んでいます。いまとうきょうですんでいます。- Right now I am living in Tokyo.
Yup I agree, when I first started studying japanese, oh about 10 years ago, I was self-study. I started by memorizing all katakana and hiragana. Of course katakana stopped being so useful and is now more of an annoyance to be honest.
I picked up a small textbook and started going through the chapters, but there's so much more to learn just by listening or by talking with a native speaker.
katakana isn't that useful, however like a lot of languages there's a lot of english loan words that they use pretty frequently. however if you just go to japan and are reading signs, menus or simple things katakana might be more useful, but they spell foreign words really weird.
it is helpful to get used to how they pronounce things, but it sure is annoying to remember how to type them out properly like コーヒー for coffee or like チケット for ticket. besides remembering the funky spelling you gotta place all the ー and ッ in the right places, which are only used for changing the sound of the previous kana.
on a side note, just yesterday in class i was told that in most situations they use the word チケット for something like かぶきのチケット instead of the word かぶきの切符 (kippu) that you'll find easily in beginner textbooks.
(*Generally チケットis used for flight tickets, きっぷ is used for train tickets.) i found this in some forum, so i'm thoroughly confused now too.
what? 5/13?!? maybe i need to LSC more... i've been playing for like 2 months now but I only have the 4 kongous, both fusou and littorio as BBs. All I've ever got from LSC is maruyu x2 and akitsu maru. Did you get to play the spring 2015 event?
Not all ships have hourly notifications, if the ship has it, it will be listed on their page. Which ship are you refering to? I've finished 2-5 for the first time today... and only unlocked 3-2 and 4-4 before the event.
I don't have a SS ( can't seem to build one even with the recipes and I didn't drop any in 1-5 ) so cna I grind this map with my actual fleet to level Taihou ( so Taihou as FS, Fusou Kai, Kaga Kai, Hiei Kai, Maya Kai and Hibiki Kai, cause I want her to level up too )?
If you use that fleet, who are you using to damage subs? Taihou's a normal CV so that just leaves Fusou's zuiun and whatever you have equiped on Hibiki. What's your HQ now? Do you have any sonars and depth charges? I assume you are running the first 3 nodes and retreating.
I got my first SS, Goya, luckily from 1-5 runs. My second was maruyu from some failied LSC. After that more recently I got Imuya and just the other day Iku.
You might deal scratch damage with artillery spotting if you don't have air superiority.
I meant the sonar and depth charges for running 1-5. Also try grinding up a few key CLs or DDs before you hit HQ 80 because after that node A's sub will have an opening torpedo strike.
Hopefully you can get at least your first sub soon as it will help tank all damage at 3-2 besides the closing torpedo assuming you don't at least chuuha everything. You basically put your CV or BB mainly as flagship and have at least 2 CVs with an opening airstrike. Moral doesn't affect the opening airstrike accuracy and hopefully it takes almost everything out. That leaves just your flagship to finish the enemy to keep MVP and moral high.
I'm actually suprised you haven't failed an LSC and gotten a maruyu yet actually o.o
Well I mean if you don't have any higher level ones, 1-5 is a good place to level them up before you hit HQ lvl 80. Just be good to have at least a few high ones on hand when you need it or for expeditions.
It's all up to you if you want to level ships based off stats or how much you like them, but Jintsuu is one of my favorites and she also has the highest firepower out of all CLs, Sendai is also good for her night battle equipment. For DDs ones with high luck are especially good like Yukikaze if you have her and Shigure. Personally I'm trying to level Murakumo now.
lol I haven't been successful at all yet building any SS. But I've been trying to use SS flagship and so far i've tried 250/30/200/30 and 250/130/200/30 with no luck. I've only been using it like twice a day for dailies though.
Trying to level up Shoukaku, but of course it doens't always work as you can see in those runs. Basically the whole set up is based off about 2 carriers, a battleship, a submarine and 2 other ships you want to level.
If you're leveling carriers you want your second carrier to hopefully hit less, by using either weaker or less planes. Of course that second run there Souryuu somehow stole MVP anyway. But you also want enough planes that you take out most of the enemy with the opening airstrike, which is unaffected by ship morale.
Then a battleship helps give your carrier in this case two hits to either boost them to MVP along with getting rid of any remaining ships. If your other ships have no morale it is very unlikely they'll hit at all so you need to rely on opening airstrike and your flagship attacks. I also give my BB weaker guns if you noticed so she won't steal MVP, but eventually she'll have no morale and she won't hit much anyway.
Advice is just keep running it and try different setups. This wiki doesn't list being able to level light cruisers at 3-2-A, but I was able to level up Jintsuu to kai-2 using this. It's just harder since they hit less.
If you mean this airplane ->http://kancolle.wikia.com/wiki/Type_0_Observation_Seaplane I'm also actively trying to craft it with daily crafts. I've had no luck with 20/20/250/250 but a lot of nice radars, no luck with 10/10/20/20, but switched to 20/10/10/20 and I've gotten 3 so far out of it. Been using a CV flagship usually.
I don't think there's a best equipment set, normally it depends on what you're fighting. What map are you trying to clear?
It's very easy for people to think/believe that a certain flagship will have higher chances in crafting things or building ships. I've had a few built with my shoukaku so just personally I believe any CV will do.
For that map, your CVs i'd equip enough fighters across both carriers to have enough for AS then fill the remaining with torpedo (blue) bombers. You have Taihou and who else? My BB is always equiped with 2 red guns + radar + plane unless I require shells. For that map I'd suggest using your CL or DD on ASW and AACI support. I'm not sure if you have an anti air fire detector yet, but you can get it from a quest. For ASW I'd suggest using a pair of guns and a depth charge or a gun, depth charge and a sonar depending on the situation.
If I were to choose from my normal line up and equips currently I'd choose something like this right now and depending on what happens I might change it slightly.
I would never put recon planes on a carrier only on battleships/CA/CLs. For the map I might not need so much airpower or I might need more so depending on how much I get shelled on I'd remove more reppuu or add more Type 52 Fighters cause I only have 4 reppuu crafted. Battleships I usually go with a pair of guns that hit a little harder but doesn't cause too big of an accuracy penalty. Then add on a radar and a scouting plane.
The CL and DD is up to you really. You could put 2 red guns and a depth charge if you have enough airpower instead on a CL in the case you hit the submarine node. Also you should choose the CL with the highest AA stat, but I like Yura just because.
In the end it's all random sometimes if you get hit or not.
The ship team is a templete that people were using to show their ship composition during the spring event. I've only crafted one saiun, but it helps a lot in most cases in preventing crossing the T. I actually don't have a type 2 recon aircraft.
My first Shoukaku I crafted a while ago, I used LSC and it failed and then a normal receipe and she came to me. I received another during the spring event.
It's all speculation. there are groups of jp players and other players that run tests and see how often they hit then it's up to you if you believe it or not. Generally consensus is that guns they were historically equipped with will have no penalty and past a certain point will have a noticble decrease in hit rate.
I'm guessing you're low on steel because you either have to repair a lot or you craft a lot of ships? If you expeditions can't keep up with consumption then you could do either 3-2 or 4-2.
Blueprints you get from exchanging medals you get from finishing 1-5, 2-5, 3-5 and 5-5 for the month. It resets at the beginning of each month. So at maximum you get 1 blueprint every month if you can clear all of them. During the past event, they gave out a few medals for map completions.
What's your exact fleet and equipment composition?
Nagato is a rarer drop, but she's a pretty common LSC drop. I don't know that from experience since I don't LSC often. I don't have Nagato, and I also just failed an LSC yesterday and got my first Mutsu.
To prevent so much damage against aircraft carriers, setup enough fighters for air superiority. The wiki is great since you can know the exact compositions of all the maps beforehand. Alongside that you can bring a CL or DD with antiair cut-in setup.
3-2 and 4-2 -> linklink those are some sites I've searched through in the past.
Actually is there a specific reason for why you're using all DD? I was thinking you needed to bring all DD for a quest or something. If I'm doing my normal map clears for 1-5 i bring.
No particular reason no... Except I don't have any Saiun and Autogyro for a CVL ( and I actually don't know any recipe to craft those ), so I'm getting T-Red everytime at the boss node and he's unkillable...
I've only opened 4-4 and I haven't tried it yet. Uh yeah red T will make it very difficult to finish 1-5 at boss especially with low ammo remaining. Autogyro and that other one is from Akitsu Maru that I got from another failed LSC. If you don't have them you should just fill with torpedo bombers. An BBV will be helpful mainly cause you have a second shelling period while they can still attack subs, which is a reason to always have at least one BB in most cases.
4-4 was kinda easy with the team I used... 2 DD ( Hibiki and Yuudachi ), one with ASW setup and the other with AACI, CA ( Maya Kai ) with a Radar Cut-In setup, 2 CV with a lot a Reppuu and Ryuusei Kai, and to finish a BBV with a AP Cut-In setup... I finish clearing the map ( 4 times killing the boss ) the same day I first killed it, and I got Nagato and Abukuma :3
Lol yeah I know how you feel... I didn't have any CAV's till the beginning of spring 2015 event and I refused to level tone, chikuma or mogami. Kumano I crafted and Suzuya dropped early and good thing since I needed them for branching rules in E-5 at the time so they were about 30-40 when I finally got there.
Well Taihou alone has 64 LoS, and Maya has 37 so with the full formation I'm around 200 I think? xD
Hmm... I think I'll go with the standard setup for my BBV ( 2x 41cm gun + plane + AP shell ), 2x Reppuu 1x Ryuusei Kai 1x Recon Aircraft on Taihou, 1x Reppuu 2x Ryuusei Kai 1x Recon Aircraft on Kaga, and Radar Cut-In type for every CA I think :o
A while back I was farming 1-5 for other subs, then my HQ level shot up past 90 actually...so be careful about it... I only ran it twice today for weekly quests. In the end all that farming only ended up in like 3 extra imuya and nothing else. iku i got recently i think from 2-5.
4/5.9/6/2/1 with Shoukaku. I wouldn't recommend farming it. The drop rate only goes up once you're past 80 people say. Even at my level nothing really dropped though. I would probably do 250/30/200/30 crafts though.
Um... well if you haven't tried out 3-2 for easy leveling try using her there. Just leeching exp got my maruyu to lvl 50... even though she's only worth leveling to 20 to kai and then to modernize for luck.
er nvm I guess it's possible... but I've never tried. good luck with those blueprints btw.
*edit again* i keep on not reading everything. note at the bottom of the construction page... so it's probably not likely until you get Z1 at least.
Kancolle DB reports include all # development materials and secretary ships. This is especially noticeable for BB recipes where the number of attempts with/without Z1/Z3 skew the results towards either Bismarck or Yamato-class significantly. However, since the data sets are still significantly less biased than wikiwiki reports it still gives a better idea of what to expect.
It is highly likely that the Z1 unlock quest must be cleared before I-8 or Prinz Eugen can construct German ships. Due to low sample size and lack of pictorial evidence other than collected construction data, avoid using them unless you've lost all your German ships after completing the quest.
Lol sorry. Just that the wiki reports that you can get Bismarck with Z1, Z3, I-8 or Prinz Eugen. However there hasn't been many reports on being crafted with I-8 or Prinz Eugen, so it's not entirely credible. So people think that you need to complete quest D8 first unless you want to try a lot of LSCs but you're therefore using a lot more resources.
Everyone takes their subs to 2-3. It's resource self sustaining and you can get transport ship and aircraft carrier kills there. Plus even if you taiha your subs they only take like 20 minutes to repair at most. However I'm barely able to do it at the moment with my 4 subs which is more like 3 subs cause maruyu doesn't really kill anything.
You'd be suprised how much exp they get just from rotating them all through 3-2 runs.
It's around 45 I think, with Fusou, Hibiki and Taihou WAY higher than the others... I also have Maya level 50 trying to reach her Kai Ni in 3-2A. I'm not using a lot of ships to be honest, around 15 at least I guess? Those are around level 40
so now you have more SS than I do... since maruyu doesn't really count.
If I consider all my 50+ ships which I consider the most dependable then I have 33. I only have a few ships that are quite a bit higher mainly cause of Kai-ni levels and possible waiifu status. Overall though I'm pretty spread out and have a pretty even distribution of level of ships.
If you don't have one or two already you might want to consider preparing some CAVs for coming events , they're essential for branching and LOS requirements. I was only able to pull though last event with the last second craft of Kumano and Suzuya dropped on an early event map. Most people go for Tone and Chikuma though but personally I don't like them.
And do you really need a map to level CLTs? Every time I sortie them they usually steal MVP, so I only sortie them when I must.... or else they keep taking exp from everyone else. You could probably level them in 3-2A though...
well mogami is the easiest one to find... but you need to get some to fulfull ship composition requirements later on. She's also remodels at lvl 10 too. However to get Mikuma you need LSC, Suzuya and Kumano you need to get to 35 and on rarer maps or craft. Chikuma and Tone you can find easily and they are the best CAVs but you need a blueprint for both and they remodel at lvl 70.
