Are you excited on reading stuff that may or may not be true? Said line has no citation or data, and encourages you to actively lower your accuracy anyways. No one can guarantee that claim, not me, or any of the mods in the wiki. If you do believe that line, I encourage you to wholly try it out and report back if this is as true as it says, and we can then tell others that it's correct.
Until then, please take some of the info with a grain of salt and stay safe. Anyone and everyone can edit the page.
What is with you people? I did no such thing, I didnt publish this 'rumor' (more so as misinformation) I just wanted to understand how one comes to his conclusion. Is pride like catatracts around here?
I was not pinning this as a rumor posted by you. What echo meant is that it's fine if you believe it. Just be careful at times since a lot of rumors surface whenever there is an event and most of the time, people can't verify it what is true or not anymore.
You need to understand that the value just doesn't magically appear out of nowhere, someone must have invested their time into determining that it really is 97% (with errors). As such, just posting that it is 97% and telling people to use overweight gun can have drawbacks. It's an equivalent of a merchant telling you that his product can improve your learning capability by 150%.
Addition of such claim to the page can cause undesired effects; for example, the multiple claims of debuffs during the first week of this event, which caused more confusion than it should.
Remember that there's more than those 3 nodes, there are also the first two nodes, that might be undercut because people brought overweight guns that actually 'reduce' the accuracy of your ships at the first node instead (and we all know how annoying that first two nodes are).
Was the addition of the "cite" by SlashZero useful? Yes, but not that much. People usually ignore them. If anything, that line should be reworded to just say "There's a notable increase in accuracy of your fleet on node Q,T, and boss.", removing the notion of 97% and the word "Always".
And yes, we are seeking the truth behind closed doors, which is why we must not let flawed claim become proof.
[04:42] <EchoHolic> The idiot Ofi123 primed the thread by implying the event was going to be Indian Ocean
You know, it wasn't nice to see this pop up with I was googling for something.
I do admit that I can't read Japanese (I am able to read Kanji) so most likely it was a MT, you could have inform me if you have info to prove otherwise and not just talk behind my back in something that'll get archived and searchable via search engines.
What's even worse is that the event is about the Curry Ocean.
