Trivia[]
- Sunk in action on October 12, 1942, during the Battle of Cape Esperance, in which Fubuki also sank.
- Received her Kai Ni on 12/1/2014.
- What seems to be a burn mark on her face is actually just a shadow caused by her hair.
- Wreck located by RV Petrel on 25 February 2019. The main portion of the hull sits upright in 1400 meters (4,593 feet) of water, with the bow broken off and lying on its port side right next to the main portion of the wreck. The bridge structure rests approximately 600 meters away.
