Special Note

  • The Fall 2017 Event and Winter 2018 Event will both be based on the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
  • Certain Parts of the Event including the Final Operation will require the player to sortie out a new Fleet composition of 7 Ships, called the "Striking Force".
    • "Striking Force" will be only limited to sortie into the Applicable Event Operational Areas (Not available for Exercises or Expeditions).
    • "Striking Force" is only possible to sortie from the Normal 3rd Fleet.
  • Final Operation will be based on the Battle of Surigao Strait. You are recommended to prepare the members from the Nishimura Fleet as much as possible in case of any special mechanics.
  • It has been hinted that special attention will be given to the Shima Fleet as well.

Hints and Advice

  • Make sure your fleet is prepared in all departments (Ex. Do not neglect your AV, SS, and/or AO).
  • Make sure to prepare a large amount of resources.
    • Give at least 1 month of time to start stockpiling your resources.
  • Make sure to prepare a good amount of Aircrafts with good stats, especially with large range for Land Base Aerial Support and for your Aircraft Carriers (Ex. Do not neglect your Skilled Aircraft Conversion Monthly Quests as they give good aircrafts and are excellent to use in Land Base Aerial Support).
  • Do not jump into the Event on Day 1 if you aren't a Frontliner. Wait for the Frontliners to gather/publish confirmed fleet compositions and branching rules for each Event Maps. Be patient.
    • Some Information may turn out to be false or half-confirmed so please be patient until all information are completely verified first.
  • Most important advice: Keep your sanity high.

The Upcoming KanColle Limited-Operations Fall 2017 Event is scheduled to start next month. The Fall Event, along with the next following Winter Event are interconnected operations as both will be based on a single large naval battle as the motive. Fall Event will be the First Part, and the following Winter Event will be the Second Part. The Fall Event which will be the First Part will start in the next month!

Currently KanColle Development Team is under preparation for the Limited-time Operation Fall 2017 Event which is scheduled for next Month release. In this Fall 2017 Event, multiple new ship girls will be implemented. We will also be implementing a certain Anti-Air Destroyer who even after receiving heavy damage in a battle in the front seas of Kyushu, was able to safely return to Sasebo. Please look forward to it!

The Fall 2017 Event [The Climax of Operation Shō-Gō! Assault on Leyte Gulf (Part 1)] that's going to start in mid-November will be the first part of Operation Shō-Ichi-Gō of which the second part will be the following Winter Event. The final map of the event is going to be based on the last battle of Fusō, Yamashiro, Mogami etc. i.e. Force C of the First Striking Force!

This Season's Fall 2017 Event: Limited-time Operational Area [Showdown at Operation Shō-Gō! Battle of Leyte Gulf (Part 1)] will have a certain Operational Area including the Final Operation where you will be able to sortie using a "Striking Force", a Fleet of 7 Ships. This Operation's Final Operation will be a Night Battle Operation based on the 1st Commando Unit (1YB)'s 3rd Fleet's Sortie and its End as the motif.

In this year's Fall 2017 Event "Showdown at Operation Shō-Gō! Battle of Leyte Gulf (Part 1)", certain maps, including the last one, will let you sortie a "Striking Force" that consists of 7 ships. A "Striking Force" with a flagship that carries a new piece of equipment, the "Striking Force Fleet Command Facility", will be able to make use of the new "Single Ship Evacuation" mechanic.

The new "Single Ship Evacuation" mechanic that will become available for "Striking Forces" allows a single ship in the fleet to retreat from the battlefield after an enemy engagement if she suffered heavy damage.

  • It is possible for the damage to become even worse during a "Single Ship Evacuation".
  • Unlike the Combined Fleet's evacuation mechanic it does not require an escort destroyer.

「遊撃部隊」で実施可能な新機能【単艦退避】は、敵艦隊との交戦後、大きなダメージを受けた「遊撃部隊」構成艦一隻を、単艦で戦場離脱させることが可能です。

  • 【単艦退避】中に損害がさらに大きくなる場合もあります。
  • 「連合艦隊」の【護衛退避】と違い、護衛の駆逐艦の随伴は不要です。

Both the new "Striking Force Fleet Command Facility" and the old "Fleet Command Facility" will become available and useable via the "Battle Report" that can be obtained in the upcoming Fall Event. The "Fleet Command Facility" as well as the new "Battle Report" item will be obtainable on all difficulty levels, so even on Medium and Easy Mode.

新装備【遊撃部隊 艦隊司令部】は、従来装備「艦隊司令部施設」と今季秋イベで獲得可能な【戦闘詳報】によって、入手＆運用が可能となります。装備「艦隊司令部施設」及び新実装アイテム【戦闘詳報】は、共に今季秋イベの「丙」「乙」含む全作戦難易度で獲得可能となる予定です。

Supplementary information regarding the new "Striking Force Fleet Command Facility" and the "Single Ship Evacuation" it allows when carried by the striking force's flagship:

  • The evacuation does not require an escort destroyer.
  • The evacuation consumes the ship's entire fuel & ammo reserves.
  • Only one ship can be evacuated per battle.
  • The damage the ship suffered may become worse during the evacuation, but she will never sink.

新装備【遊撃部隊 艦隊司令部】の「遊撃部隊」旗艦運用で可能となる【単艦退避】の補足事項です。

  • 同退避に護衛駆逐艦は不要です。
  • 同退避艦の燃料/弾薬は全消費となります。
  • 一交戦につき、最大一隻の退避が可能です。
  • 損害が拡大する場合がありますが、同退避中の轟沈はありません。

Currently KanColle Development Team is preparing for the release of multiple new Ship Girls. During this Fall, An Anti-Air Destroyer who had sortied together with Yamato and with the 2nd Torpedo Squadron led by Yahagi, even after becoming a total mess, was able to miraculously return and even today continues to protect Japan, and for this upcoming Winter, along with a Royal Navy Destroyer, a Light Cruiser's Kai Ni Remodel are all currently in preparation for release.

The next following 2nd Operation afterwards is an Operation requiring a Normal Fleet. In this Operation, the 2nd Striking Force will be performing as well, but in this Operation, the Regular Fleet of the Operation Shō-Ichi-Gō, the "Striking Force", a [fleet of 7 Ships] will become available to sortie through the use of the 3rd Fleet.

  • You cannot do PvP or Expedition through a "Striking Force".

続く前段作戦第ニ作戦海域も、通常艦隊の作戦海域です。本作戦海域でも、第二遊撃部隊が活躍しますが、本作戦海域から「捷一号作戦」時の通常艦隊、第三艦隊において、【七隻編成】の「遊撃部隊」を編成・出撃することが可能となります。

For An Admiral's Fleet who is able to clear through the Main Operation's 2nd Operation will be able to obtain the Etorofu-class Coastal Defense Ship, "Sado", who had fought a harsh battle through a Maritime Defense Operation together with her sister ship "Matsuwa" in the Luzon Island Front Sea Area, but both having sunk together. For Admirals who have recently been posted to base, by preparing your fleet strength and Equipment in the Regular Operational Maps, it would be recommended for you to try to challenge yourself in clearing up to the 2nd Operation as a Goal.

前段作戦第二作戦海域を攻略突破した提督の艦隊には、僚艦「松輪」と共に厳しい海上護衛戦を戦い、ルソン島沖で共に沈んだ択捉型海防艦「佐渡」が合流します。最近着任された提督方は、通常海域で艦隊戦力や兵站を整備拡充しつつ、第二作戦海域攻略を一つの目標に挑戦頂けますと幸いです。

アップデート▼「支援」の更新＆拡張について 本メンテナンスによるアップデートで「支援」が更新されます。 ※「航空支援」の発生条件が更新されます。 ※味方「航空支援」の効果が僅かですが、上方修正されます。 ※味方「航空支援」の一部に、「対潜支援哨戒」が追加されます。

アップデート▼「対潜支援哨戒」について 本メンテナンスによるアップデートで、「対潜支援哨戒」が実装されます。軽空母などの対潜機運用艦及び随伴駆逐艦/海防艦による対潜護衛型の艦隊編成と、対潜能力のある航空機により、敵潜水艦に対する「対潜支援哨戒」攻撃を実施することが可能です。

アップデート▼基地航空隊による「対潜哨戒」 対潜哨戒が可能な機材を持つ基地航空隊は、敵潜水艦を発見/攻撃することが可能となります。また、第二作戦海域を「乙」作戦以上で突破された提督方には、対潜哨戒機「東海」が先行配備されます。※「東海」は今冬以降、通常海域でも獲得可能です。

期間限定海域【捷号決戦！邀撃、レイテ沖海戦(前篇)】では、第一作戦海域より「基地航空隊」の運用、及び新陣形【警戒陣】の使用が可能です。同新陣形は、艦隊後半に配備された駆逐艦などの快速護衛艦が前方に展開、一番艦二番艦などの主力艦を護りつつ進むのに適した、警戒型の戦闘隊形です

In new formation "Vanguard Formation" , the ships placed in the latter half of the fleet are placed in the front as "vanguard ships", and will protect the main fleet at the back of the formation. While it is more likely for the attacks to be focused on the vanguard ships in the front, there will be evasion bonus applied to them as well. (This effect will be especially noticeable for fast ships like destroyers) The firepower of main fleets that have moved to the back of the formation will decrease.

新陣形【警戒陣】では艦隊後半に配備された艦が警戒艦として前方に展開、陣形後方の主力艦隊を護衛します。前方に展開した警戒艦に敵の攻撃は集まりやすくなりますが、警戒艦の回避補正は向上します(同効果は特に軽快な駆逐艦に顕著です)。艦隊陣形後方に下がった主力艦の火力は低下します。

For normal fleets in E-2 and onward, you will be able to form 7-ship fleet on the 3rd Fleet and operate them a s a "strike force' (only formation, sortie and resupply will be available). When sortieing with a "strike force' for the extra opations, you will also be able to use "solo retreat" after battle to retreat damaged ships while continuing to press forward.

第二作戦海域以降の通常艦隊では、第三部隊において【七隻編成】の「遊撃部隊」運用が可能です(編成/出撃/補給のみ可能です)。「遊撃部隊」による出撃では、今後の後段作戦においては、ある条件下で交戦後の【単艦退避】を選択、損傷艦を戦場離脱させ、進撃を続けることも可能となります。
