Saury 2017 Mini-Event[]
- The Limited-time Saury Mini-Event has started and will last for about 2 weeks!
- Special equipment can be used to increase the drop rate of Saury fishes:
- Known equipment:
Searchlights (small or large), Sonars, Skilled Lookouts, Depth Charges. - Some Aircrafts will also increase drop rates.
- Suspected to include Swordfish and its variants (Mk.II (Skilled)/Mk.III (Skilled))
- Known equipment:
- Coastal Defense Ships can be also used to increase effectiveness of drop chances.
- Coastal Defense Ships will be available as limited-time drop during the Saury Mini-Event only.
- Known drop locations (on boss nodes) for DE are the following:[1]
- NOTE: Matsuwa drops on 1-5 only for admirals that don't have her, no dupes available on that map.
- Special equipment can be used to increase the drop rate of Saury fishes:
Modernization Update[]
- Using Coastal Defense Ships as modernization fodders will increase and stats. Please note that ship classes that have 0 base stat will not receive the modernization.
- Using DE of the same classes but different ship as fodders will also increase in a certain range.
- Currently known caps to this mechanic are +2 max and +9 max for every ship, modernizations past the cap won't increase the stats any farther.
- Using DE of the same classes but different ship as fodders will also increase
- This content is pre-released. There are possibilities of it receiving further adjustments in the future.

07 Naval Base "Saury" Festival 【Saury Fishing Support】 Open! with Naval Base Ocean Area, Northern Ocean Area as the center, in numerous areas with Fishing Grounds, you will be able to send out your fleet there, destroy the enemy fleets that linger there, ensure the safety of the Fishing Grounds, and by supporting the capture of Saury Fish in each respective Fishing Grounds, you will able to obtain the fresh seasonal "Saury".
07▼鎮守府「秋刀魚」祭り【秋刀魚漁支援】、解禁！ 鎮守府海域、北方海域などを中心とした秋刀魚漁の漁場となるいくつか海域では、艦隊を投入し遊弋する敵艦隊を撃破、同漁場の安全を確保、各漁場における秋刀魚漁を支援することで、新鮮な旬の【秋刀魚】を獲得することが可能です。
08 Equipment effective for 【Saury Fishing Support】: You will be able to use any type of fleet for the Saury Fishing Support, there are certain effective equipment for it. Also, the placement of equipment and focused displacement will give additional effects. ・A Light that brigthens the Ocean ・An Equipment which can detect the Schools of Fish ・An Aircraft which can observe the group of Saury from the sky are effective.
08▼【秋刀魚漁支援】に適した装備等 秋刀魚漁支援はどんな艦隊でも可能ですが、特に有効な装備などが存在します。また、組み合わせや集中配備による効果も期待できます。 ・海を照らす強い光源 ・魚群探知を支援できる装備 ・空から秋刀魚の群れを観測する航空機材等 他が有効です。
09 The Gist of 【Saury Fishing Support】: If you obtain too much Saury from the Operational Area which contains Fishing Grounds in a focus manner, the Area's Supply of Fish will be decimated, and it will become difficult to obtain any additional Fish from there. ・ Do not focusedly fish in one area. ・ Please let the Fishing Grounds or the Operational Area entirely rest to protect the supply of Fish. Such methods are effective for the Fishing Support.
09▼【秋刀魚漁支援】のコツ 秋刀魚漁の漁場となる作戦海域であまり集中的に「秋刀魚」を乱獲すると、同海域の漁業資源が激減し、秋刀魚が獲れにくい状態になる場合があります。 ・集中的に乱獲しない ・漁場や海域全体を少し休ませて漁業資源の保護を考慮する 等の対策も有効です。
10 The Tricky Method of 【Saury Fishing Support】 "I like tried this and that but the Fish won't come Poi!" "I might be lacking Searchlight and Aircrafts-kamo!" In such cases, the following might be effective? ・BOOM in the Ocean! (Fishing Grounds might get wrecked, so if possible try another method!) ・Try to use personnel who can find the schools of fish even in the dark!
