+ | ==Damage Bonus== |
− | According to the March 11 2016 Update Patch Notes, there are now different types of Installations, with different characteristics. |
||
− | ===Soft-Skinned=== |
||
− | '''Soft-Skinned''' types refer to normal installations. Unless otherwise specified, most Installations introduced before March 11 2016 should belong to this category. All bonuses below are '''pre-cap'''. |
||
+ | Damage against Installations is calculated as follows:<br /> |
||
− | '''Day combat , Night battle''' |
||
+ | <math> |
||
+ | \text Attack Power = \operatorname{cap} \left ( ( \hat{F} \cdot I_{pre} ) + I_{flat} \right ) * I_{post} |
||
+ | </math> |
||
+ | Where: |
||
+ | *<math>\hat{F}</math> is the ship's calculated '''shelling''' stat after equipment and improvement have been added (Refer to [[Combat/Damage_Calculation]]) |
||
+ | *<math> \operatorname{cap} |
||
+ | *<math>I_{pre}</math> is the final multiplier of all eligible pre-cap multipliers. |
||
+ | *<math>I_{flat}</math> is the sum of all eligible flat pre-cap bonuses. |
||
+ | *<math>I_{post}</math> is the final multiplier of all eligible post-cap multipliers. |

==Ship Type== |
Revision as of 01:08, 6 October 2019
Template:Under Construction
- For special effect on non-installation enemies like PT Imp Pack, please refer to each of their own pages.
Abyssal Land Bases, otherwise known as Installations, are enemies representing land-based military fortifications and facilities. While categorized as various different ship classes within the game, they have numerous differences from ordinary ships that grant them unique defensive strengths and weaknesses against shipborne weapons.
General Rules
- There are several types of Anti-Installation Attack Modifier.
The position of the operation is different depending on the type.[1]
- Cannot be attacked by Torpedoes.
- Note that submarine can attack them during the night regardless of equipment.
- Torpedo value isn't taken into calculation when attacking them, except during 2013 Fall Event. When targeted, torpedo attacks (during Torpedo Phase or Night Battle) will not activate either.
- As an exception, it is assumed that torpedo value is added if no equipment is equipped.[2]
- Cannot be attacked by Carriers equipped with Dive Bomber, but Dive Bombers can target them during Opening Air Strikes.
- However, can be attacked by Carriers equipped with these Dive Bomber.[3]
(Suisei Model 12 (634 Air Group w/ Type 3 Cluster Bombs) ,Prototype Nanzan,F4U-1D,FM-2,Ju 87C Kai,Ju 87C Kai Ni (w/ KMX),Ju 87C Kai Ni (w/ KMX/Skilled) )
- However, can be attacked by Carriers equipped with these Dive Bomber.[3]
- Torpedo Bombers CAN attack them during Opening Air Strikes.[4]
- However, the torpedo stat of Torpedo Bombers is not taken into calculation when attacking Installations.[5]
- Equipping Type 3 Shell and WG42 (Wurfgerät 42) deals extra damage to Installations.
- BBV and CV type Installations attack power is calculated in the same way as Carrier Type ships.
- Special damage labels are shown when damaged:
Regular (ship) damage label | Name in Japanese | Land based damage label | Name in Japanese |
---|---|---|---|
Slightly damaged | (小破?) | Confused | (混乱?) |
Moderately damaged | (中破?) | Damaged | (損害?) |
Heavily damaged | (大破?) | Broken | (損壊?) |
Sunken | (撃沈?) | Destroyed | (破壊?) |
- All Installation Type Abyssals that carry bombers will not attack during Day Battle when Moderately Damaged, just like Carriers.
- Installations also activate the second shelling phase, like battleships.
- Submarines will be forced to attack Installation Type enemies during day battle shelling phase when equipped with certain equipment, such as the WG42.

Damage Bonus
Damage against Installations is calculated as follows:
Failed to parse (syntax error): {\displaystyle \text Attack Power = \operatorname{cap} \left ( ( \hat{F} \cdot I_{pre} ) + I_{flat} \right ) * I_{post} }
Where:
- is the ship's calculated shelling stat after equipment and improvement have been added (Refer to Combat/Damage_Calculation)
- is the final multiplier of all eligible pre-cap multipliers.
- is the sum of all eligible flat pre-cap bonuses.
- is the final multiplier of all eligible post-cap multipliers.

Others
These are Installations that (might) behave differently in regards to damage, and haven't been categorized in the above categories.
Central Princess
- Takes increased damage from dive bombers and seaplane bombers during opening stages.
Central Princess Damaged Form
- Takes increased damage from WG42 and Type 2 Tanks. However, using both of them together cancels Tank bonus.[4]
Ship Type
Despite those enemies are installations, they do have the "ship type" parameter which influence their behavior in battle.
Currently, there are Aviation Battleship, Battleship, and Carrier Installations.
- Aviation Battleship type: Most Installations belong to this type, firepower calculation same as carriers, shelling attack animation in both day battle and night battle [in browser game version], cannot attack in day battle if heavily damaged.
- Battleship type: Artillery Imp and Central Princess, firepower calculation same as battleships, shelling attack animation in both day battle and night battle, can attack in day battle even if they are heavily damaged.
- Carrier type: Lycoris Princess, firepower calculation same as carriers, carrier attack animation in day battle and shelling attack animation in night battle, cannot attack in day battle if heavily damaged. Killing them count toward carrier kill quest.
