hi everyone.
is it possible to complete "once" A B tasks and be good at high lvl maps being f2p with 100 kanmusu restriction?
or is it mandatory to purchase that cash-shop port expansion item to be ok at endgame?
thx in advance ))

It's doable, although it's been getting harder and harder over the years.
For a game of this type, I've managed to not spend too much money over the years (most of my money sunk in the game over the years is marrying ships).
Completing all A and B quests with only 100 slots seems pretty hard but you can focus on the most important ones and clear that using a lot of part-timer ships (e.g. excluding the first pair that got scrapped when I needed fre slots, I hired other 2 pairs of Ise/Hyuuga for completing their quests over the time). Since I started playing before the introduction of the difficulty selection in the events and I'm still a 100-slotter, you can be fine at endgame just like me as long as you keep a balanced and functional fleet (my main exception is Aquila) and have all hard clear during events (just like my last one) and rank (quite happy to get the Re.2001CB for my weakest carrier).

isnt this 'marriage' system a bit p2w? i mean its typical for such games (as youve stated it) but still... )))
In a sense, yeah. The benefits are there, but this game employs so many square roots in their formula and thus many things get diminishing returns at higher number.
But benefits are still benefits and they help you to win.
The benefit with the most impact from 'marriage' is the sortie cost reduction since 15% reduction (especially on big eaters like Yamato) is huge.
Then there are stuff like Reinforcement Expansion, straight up buying resources, buying screws, Repair Team/Goddess...
Even Ship Slot Expansion IS a P2W, masked behind "This game is about C.O.L.L.E.C.T.I.O.N!". Think for a moment and you'll realise P2W aspect of Ship Slot Expansion is huge.
There is no P2W in this game. It's complete rng, which at best you can influence the odds a bit but nothing game breaking that will guarantee you victory. I do just fine with fleet of level 99s and married Iowa (ring from quest).

RNG doesn't give a shit either you're paid user or not. Buying RE+Damegod only allows you to continue your sortie (rather than retreat and start over again) if one of your ships (with those Damegod) get taiha'd. Marriage is just optional and yes it reduces 15% fuel/ammo, increases LOS, Eva, ASW but still RNG doesn't give a shit about that. Buying screws isn't necessary since you can get them mostly on quests and present boxes.
I can't possibly imagine the inconvenience, rage-inducing and disappointments I would find in being an eternal 100 ship slots. I see some proud 100 slotters heart-locking 95 ships and carrying the F on :V.
If you are playing for 6 months/a year and you feel like you'll be playing for months/years to come, consider buying yourself 10 slots or a ring for your favorite ships :3.
And support this apparently "dying" browser game. (I have no source, I just read some japs talking about this in 2018's KC JP Ice festival)
I think I bought 10 slots per month, in my first 8 months. Now I'm buying 10 slots twice-three times a year. (by no means a rule.) I think the biggest "charm" in this "card game", is precisely your capability to "collect" ship girls and equipments.
^ So true, maybe because I grew up on Pokémon and baseball cards, I need to collect them all! My rule of thumb for buying slots in the beginning was a dock expansion every event. I mean $10 every 3 months shouldn't be that hard to procure.
I can relate with Pokémon collection :3.
YEa, precisely my point Sebby. In the end, investing money in this game is all about your passion for it (one may develope it, or not) and CONVENIENCE (+Slots, +Repair docks, +Rings and +Presets).
I think all of us disregard all the rest. Just one time I bought a construction corp for 6-5. I use it monthly for 7-8 months now, useful convenience for me :3.
does hamakaze drop on early maps? wiki says yes but i farmed 1-4 and world 2 endlessly and no sight of her. shes not that super rare i guess. tia ))
