Just curious to know ^.^ I want to see HMS Hood in the game. Since Hood is named after an Admiral, I imagine her personality and design being very Admiral-like. Plus, she would be a red head with black eyes lol.

Isn't Fiume a Heavy cruiser since she's also a Zara class (who sank at the same battle with Zara)?
All of them are excellent choices, though not a huge fan for auxiliary ships (except for seaplane tenders),especially oilers and the funny thing is, I live in Ohio xD
I agree. I love seaplane and submarine tenders, but I'm a much bigger fan over the capital ships.
Oh in general oilers are much less interesting than war ships, because well they're just floating self propelled barrels lol. But SS Ohio just has the heroic story to go with her, and an allied ship of each class would be nice.
Hmm, I'll try to list US ships that's less popular, such as:
USS Marblehead (CL-12): Her famous achievement can be summarized as "Running a 14000 km marathon with a broken ankle"
Uss Franklin (CV-13): Might be the 2nd in "unsinkable" list below Laffey II, complete with her own Father O'Callahan fairy
USS Charles Ausburne (DD-570): Captained by the famous skipper Arleigh Burke himself and the leader of "Little Beaver".
USS England (DE-635): Famous for sinking several Japanese submarine already, when her division commander detected a submarine (Ro-105), she was told to 'sit in the corner and do nothing'. After numerous failed attempt, her division commander said "Oh, hell. Go ahead England." And she succeed...
And of course... The Silent Service...
Beside the infamous ships such as Sand Lance, Sealion II, Archerfish, Cavalla, Rasher, Dace, Darter, Tang, and of course Albacore and Harder; there's also
USS Sailfish (SS-192) and USS Sculpin (SS-191): Let's say the fate of these two ships was fascinatingly intertwined
USS Seadragon (SS-194): Where an emergency appendectomy was performed for the first time on a submarine... By a high-school dropout... With a lack of surgical equipment... And succeeded... Yeah, that happened...
Oh, and a Kriegsmarine/Soviet cruiser Lützow/Petropavlovsk/Talinn: She took part in the defense (1941) and counter-attack of Lenignrad (1944) by the Soviets. I can sniff some drama from her history...
Great choices, especially Cavalla (my favorite Gato-class sub) and I drew at least two pictures of her. Well, since almost everyone is talking about Axis and Allied ships (and Shinano), what about other Allied ships from other countries (Besides the UK and the US) and maybe some neutrals, such as the Spanish heavy cruiser Canarias or the Swedish aircraft cruiser Gotland, who got connections to Bismarck. I know their not very storied ships, but I think they will be a great addition to the game.
Yeah, I think I read somewhere that Tokyo Rose called Cavalla "The Black Devil", and Albacore "The White Devil". Don't know how much of this is true though... And speaking of other nations... Aside from HMCS Haida and Dutch's De Ruyter mentioned above, there's Polish ORP Blyskawica, There's also several ROC and Soviet ships on the rip-off game... Other than that, it's quite unlikely to implement any other ships because their nation was neutral in WW2...
BTW did you know this: " The United States Submarine Veterans of World War II have suggested each of the fifty states of The United States "adopt" one submarine that have lost in the war, except California and New York, which should adopt two. " Your state, Ohio, adopted USS Grunion.
Lso, there's USS Edsall (DD - 219) which I personally call The Dancer of Indian Ocean.
