Introduction
新開発の長8cm高角砲です。
秋月型に装備された長10cm高角砲の小型軽量化を目指した対空用副砲バージョンです。微妙な出来という評価もありますが、後期の建造艦艇への装備が期待されていました。
It is the newly developed long 8cm high-angle gun.
An alternative version to Akizuki-class destroyer Anti-air 10cm high-angle gun, but this is the secondary gun with similar performance. There were reports that they were mediocre, but they were expected to be fitted to late model ships.

Can be equipped in the Reinforcement Expansion slot of the following ships:
- Agano-class
- Yura Kai Ni
- Training Cruisers
- Suzuya Kai Ni and Kumano Kai Ni
. - Repair ships
- Submarine Tender
Warning
As per day and night battle rules, equipping the 8cm High-angle Gun in the expansion slot will override any other cut-in or double attack method. In night battle, secondary gun cut-in has priority over all other cut-in and double attack methods. Please revise your shipgirl's loadout before deciding to equip this.
