Introduction
Iowa級戦艦の主兵装として米国で開発された強力な新型三連装主砲と、その改良された射撃管制システムです。現在のFCSの先祖ともいえる射撃レーダーと砲射撃指揮装置によるシステムを有しており、その高火力と共に高い射撃精度が期待できます。
This is the powerful triple gun with its improved fire control system, developed in the US as the primary weapon of the Iowa class battleships. It is expected that with its radar guided fire control systems, it can be called as the ancestor of modern FCS with its high accuracy and firepower.
