<p>You should prioritize exp 2, 5, and 6 over exp 21 and 38. And stop running Exp 38/37 once you finish the weekly quest, since steel is a very easy resouce to gather. </p><p>Daily quests give a lot of buckets. Be sure to do them as often as possible: http://kancolle.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Zel-melon/Bucket_Hoarding_for_Casuals </p><p>Completions of all dailies equals about 11 hours worth of non-stop expedition 2's each day. And about 8 hours worth per day if you do all the easy dailies. </p><p>Oreling should only be done in conjunction with quests. Don't grind there for hours for resources. Prioritize sparkling over oreling. Sparkling expedition ships at 1-1 or 1-5 net more resources per sortie than oreling. </p><p>For sparkling at 1-5, I use the following setup as it can sparkle the flagship from 49 to 80+ in one sortie: 100+ ASW DD/CL flagship, 2 destroyers without preemptive ASW, 1CVL with saiun. Go all the way to the boss node. </p><p>Also, your ships look plenty strong. I think you should priortize clearing monthlies and weeklies over grinding 3-2A. These objectives, barring 4-5 and 5-5, will net you resource gain rather than losing them with the proper setups. It will help level your ships while giving you screws and other bonus resources. </p>

It's been a small pet peeve of mine for a while. </p><p>I'll post again if I find something wrong. So far, every fleet using the template in this wiki seems to be working (not counting the ones with script errors before the fix). </p>

<p>The developers tweeted that it will be an easy event. However, you are missing lots of suspected branching ships. Odds are that you'll get screwed over by branching. They say it's based off Operation Rei-Go, so I'll expect to see lots of enemy planes, enemy PT boats, and a land-based boss based on historical context. </p><p>Fleet levels: </p><p>Outside of suspected special branching ships, weak points of include your destroyers, aviation cruisers, and I presume your auxillary ships too. Your DD depth is low, so if they reintroduce the transport expedition fleet, expect to see some pain. </p><p>The ships I suspect as special branchers right now are the following: Kasumi, Kiyoshimo, Asashimo, Ashigara, Ooyodo, Ise, and Hyuuga. There's nothing you can do about Kiyoshimo and Asashimo, but if you aren't restricted by ship slots, I recommend holding onto at least Kasumi, and Ise and Hyuuga if you choose. </p><p>Whether or not to grind is at your discretion. You'll need a decent stockpile if you want to aim for both farming and clearing the event with hard difficulty. </p><p>Equipment crafting: </p><p>I saw your equipment and thought one thing: you cheapened out on your plane crafting by using the 20 30 10 90 recipe. You lack enough Ryuusei Kai because of it, and you'll have to pay for it now. Since you'll need more Reppuu for the Reppuu 601 upgrade anyways, it's back to crafting with the 20 60 10 100 recipe until you have enough torpedo bombers. </p><p>Equipment improvement: </p><p>It's good that you're using your daily quest frequently. Improving equipment takes a long time, and it takes months to see a big enough change in your fleet preformance. Rather than telling you what to improve, I'll focus on showing you how I gather my improvement materials to fund equipment improvement. That'll probably be more useful for you in the long run. </p><p>

At times, if you include daily quests, it you will able to fulfill 6 sortie quest objectives with the same sortie. It will save resources and time, and dead-end nodes won't be as salty. <p>The requirement is to have Nachi, Myoukou, Haguro, 2 leveled CAVs, and 2-3 wolfpacks of submarines. </p><p>It's very sustainable. It takes very little resources, as the bulk is of the sorties is just using submarines. The weekly portion is quite friendly on buckets too. I lucked out this week, and completed this week's questline without using a single bucket. The sparkling at 1-1 for bw1 pretty much pays back for entire month's repeatable quests. </p><p>There are guides like the one below. I don't follow it directly, mainly for my personal preference and bias. Since the event is looming soon, I would start by adding one star to equipment that you are certain that you will use during the event. A pair of 20.3(2) and (3), a pair of 41cm cannons, a 381mm kai, a pair of OTO 152, a pair of 10cmm+AAFD, a searchlight, etc. Just scatter improvements to a bunch of equipment because you don't have the time to improve anything to 4 stars right now. </p><p>http://kancolle.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Hayashi_H/Advanced_Equipment_Guide#What_should_I_upgrade_first.3F </p><p>Other notes: </p><p>Sparkle your expedition destroyers. Pre-spakle a bunch at time (you can use bw1 at the same time), and swap them out when they get tired throughout the week. You need to stockpile efficiently if you want to solidify your chances of getting the hard medal. After you hit cap, you're losing nearly a third of the resources you should be gathering from these expeditions. Getting great success will help your destroyer situation, as experience gained per expedition doubles if it is a great success. It really adds up over time. </p>

</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Heh, the screw expenditure does get crazy. My current is Sun-Tues: 38cm Kai, Wed-Thurs: Quint Oxy, Fri-Sat: 10cm+AAFD, and it’s only going to get worse. I’m still shuddering at that Type 1 AP coming up ahead.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Consider leveling Akashi. There is a video out there comparing a level 50 vs a level 130 Akashi, and the comparison between their success rates in equipment improvement. Although the sample size was somewhat small, it looked significant enough to make a difference in the 8+ improvement range. I ground my Akashi to 90 after watching that video.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">If you take a look at the statistics, it’s only worth using the slider if the equipment being sacrificed for the improvement is valuable. Just ask yourself what is more valuable? Do you value the equipment being sacrificed or the extra improvement material you will need if you fail the attempt?</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Here are some scenarios:</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">The 61cm Quint (Oxygen) Torpedo mount: Improving it past 6 stars will cost 1 quint torpedo per attempt. Farming more is a complete pain in the butt! That’s another Kitakami to level 50! Always use the slider on quints at 6 stars or higher.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">10cm+AAFD: Improving it past 6 stars cost two 10cm per attempt. I happen to have a huge stockpile, and won’t care if I lose a few. I’ll gamble every attempt.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">41cm/38cm kai: Improving these past 6 stars will cost me two 41cm per attempt. I still need to craft a bunch of 46cm for my 51cm improvement, and I don’t need much more. I’ll probably get more than I need in failed 51cm attempts. I will gamble, but this example may not apply to others such as those just starting who still need a lot of them.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">But-but-but you have 14 improved 20.3(2) and 20/3(3) combined, which is enough for 7 ships! I would have saved more of those 20.3(3) to use as improvement fodder.</p>
