Importance of HA Interceptors?

Hi,

I was doing E3-H when I noticed I was only achieving AP on air raids, when I had more than enough FP to achieve AS/AS+ according to the wiki. Upon further research, I learned about the existence of HA Raids and Interceptors.

I missed most events during the past 2-3 years due to a long hiatus, and as a result, I don't have any HA Interceptors. Is having an HA Interceptor important in general, or can I do without one?

To be precise, I'm considering using a catapult for Kaga K2 since one of her quests (B153) rewards a P. Shuusui as a choice reward. Would this be worth the investment/reward selection?

Thanks for your input – as mentioned above, I've already scrapped spare Ro and Kamikaze-class (and most of the Mutsuki-class being kept now are for quests/daihatsu muling once K2).

Are extra DEs not valuable for expeds, or is 4 generally enough to cover everything? I've made enough space for now, so I'll consider scrapping/modfodding extra DEs, along with Unryuu-class and Gangut if I need more space in the future.

As for Yura, I wanted to level her for her versatility (i.e. SPFs, minisub, etc.), but would the aforementioned CLs be able to cover those niches in her place? I didn't see anything about SPFs or minisubs on their pages, unless I missed something...

I've scrapped the Ro dupe (just forgot to scrap her after grabbing FaT), as well as the Kamikaze-class (minus Kamikaze for a quest), since I can probably just use Mutsuki-class and DEs (where applicable) for expeds anyways. As for Raiden, I'll consider scrapping them if I end up really desperate for space, since I really like those sisters... </p><p>Though I'll be keeping her for a quest anyways, wasn't Choukai considered a good CA worth keeping, or has that changed with newer ships/remodels? </p><p>Once again, thanks for your input! </p>

Which ships to scrap?

<p>Hi, I'm a player coming back from a long hiatus. </p> I wanted to complete some of the ship-specific quests in order to unlock some of the newer quests, but didn't have enough space to keep every ship. Given that there's been multilpe new K2/buffs in my absence, I wasn't quite sure as to which ships are more relevant than others and which ones to scrap, so I wanted to get some advice.<figure class="article-thumb tright show-info-icon" style="width: 180px">

<p>Going to farm hard for Akashi... by the way, does she drop in every single map, or just in the EOs of World 1? I really need Akashi for the new daihatsus as well as other crap to upgrade.. </p>

Hopefully this is, I won't be able to bring my computer to the place I will be going at the time of the Spring Event (judging by when it occured the past couple of years), hopefully KCA comes out before then (as well as the public version, I won't be able to get into the lottery because of my shit rng T-T)... </p>

It seems that nobody has info about E-4 Medium, so I'll be posting whatever I find here. I am currently using CTF, so I probably won't get any info about the northern nodes, but for the southern route (and node C, since I get redirected like 90% of the time)... Fleet Check for Med/Easy

<p>So in preparation of the event, I started grinding, and started to pain myself over whether I'll be able to clear this event or not. I was then referred to this forum board, and decided to post my fleet here. I am planning to run Medium for the first map (my friends say I have a pretty stable light fleet), then run Easy/Medium, depending on shiplocking, difficulty, and my sanity level for the rest of the event. </p><p>Here is my fleet: </p><p>DD: Yuudachi K2 (75), Verniy (73), Shigure K2 (65), Fubuki K (69, this frustrates me :(>.<):), Akatsuki K (53), and 2 others at level 45-50. </p><p>CL(T): Isuzu K2 (60), Sendai K (59, again, this frustrates me), Abukuma K (49), Kitakami K2 (78), Ooi K2 (69) </p><p>CA(V): Kumano K (48), Suzuya K (38), I'm really lacking in CA(V)'s... </p><p>BB(V): Ise K (71), Kongou (74), Haruna (60), Yamashiro K (40), Fusou K (23), Hyuuga K (43), I can't find any good BB... </p><p>CV(L): Junyou K (68), Akagi (63), Kaga (55), Hiryuu (34), Souryuu (33), Chiyoda (43), Zuikaku (12, just got her, haven't really got a chance to level her) </p><p>SS: I-8 K (43), I-58 (45), I-168 (23), I blame RNG for not giving me better subs </p><p>Misc: Chitose A (43, was planning to remodel her at 50 to Carrier K2 at once, but then 6-3 came out...), once again, I blame RNG for no other good ships. </p><p>My equipment list is: </p><p>Planes (Fighter): Reppu (2), Shiden K2 (2), rest are crappy T52... </p><p>Planes (Torp): Ryuusei K (3), Ryuusei (2), Tenzan 601 (1), and a crapload of Tenzans </p><p>Planes (Bomber): Suisei M12 (5), T62 F/B (4), and a crapload of Suiseis </p><p>Misc Planes: Saiun (5, I really wanted a Type-2 Recon...) </p><p>Shells: 91 AP (2), Type 3 (4) </p><p>Night Battle: Getting the full set from Sendai in 1 level </p><p>Anti-Sub: T3 SONAR (2), T3 DCharge (2), T93 SONAR (3), T94 DCharge (3) </p><p>RADAR: T21 Air (6), T22 Surface (5), T13 Air (2) </p><p>Resources: Fuel (~25000), Ammo (+30000), Steel (~26000), Bauxite (~29000), Buckets (+300), running 1-6 (forgot to run it after 1-5 ._.) right now. </p><p>Thank you for taking to time to read this huge block of text, and leave feedback below! <p>The only problem about "GREAT 'MURICA'S B-DAY" is that most of the enemies in KanColle are based off the American Navy (or at least it's a popular theory)... Also, July 3rd was when KTKM was launched, not when she was actually built, so I guess that would be close enough to her birthday... Could the date of the update be pointing to a new voice line? </p>
