<p>I wouldn't take this as a sign for something like that. I think that scene just implied that Nagato isn't that happy about losing a single Ship Girl, despite claiming that the operation was an overall success. </p>

<p>Yeah, I put down Love Live! instantly once I saw this in the OP. It was a lot more excessive there though; while Fubuki and some others look kind of silly with it, I think Shimakaze looked fine. </p>
